30 Rock was an American sitcom created by Tina Fey, the former Saturday Night Live head writer and SNL Weekend Update anchor. Fey starred in the series as Liz Lemon, the head writer and creator of a struggling NBC sketch show who finds her life turned upside down as NBC executive Jack Donaghy (Alec Baldwin) decides to cast former action movie star Tracy Jordan (fellow SNL cast member Tracy Morgan) as the new lead in her show. 30 Rock turned out to be a critical hit, being nominated for a total of 116 Primetime Emmy awards throughout its seven year run, including a record 22 nominations for just Season 3 alone, which broke its own record of 17 nominations for Season 2. The series premiered on NBC in 2006 and aired for 7 seasons. Despite its critical acclaim, the show struggled for ratings, finally coming to an end with a truncated final season in early 2013.
The following weapons were used in the television series 30 Rock:
Handguns
Glock 17
During a flashback to one of Tracy Jordan's (Tracy Morgan) films in "Jack-tor" (1.05), Tracy wields a Glock 17 in his role as an undercover policeman. Shane Hunter (Will Ferrell) holds a pair of them in a cutaway to fictional NBC show Bitch Hunter in "The Moms" (S04E20). Kim Jong-Il (Margaret Cho) and Tracy pull them out in a clip from their North Korean action movie in "Everything Sunny All the Time Always" (S05E21).
"Non Descript Pocket Pistol" Non-Gun
Tracy Jordan (Tracy Morgan) takes a pocket pistol "non gun" to the Source Awards in "The Source Awards" (1.16), but Liz Lemon (Tina Fey) takes it from him and accidentally shoots and wounds Steven Black (Wayne Brady).
Kahr K9
The Chinese thug (uncredited) who tries to steal Kenneth's kidneys in the second season finale carries a stainless Kahr K9.
Walther PPK
In "Believe in the Stars" (3.02), Jack Donaghy (Alec Baldwin) tells Kenneth (Jack McBrayer) that he has hidden a loaded pistol in the elevator in case someone should need to sacrifice themselves when the elevator gets stuck. Kenneth immediately grabs the Walther PPK and puts it to his head to selflessly sacrifice himself, but Jack informs him that he was merely kidding.
Smith & Wesson Model 10
In "The One with the Cast of Night Court" (3.03), Liz's impulsive friend Claire (Jennifer Aniston) puts a Smith & Wesson Model 10 in Jack's (Alec Baldwin) hand after stealing it from an NYPD officer's holster. She then shouts that Jack has a gun, causing the policemen to chase him away.
Smith & Wesson Schofield
Hector Moreda (Alec Baldwin) shoots a man in the back with a Smith & Wesson Schofield revolver in the show-within-a-show Los Amantes Clandestinos in "Generalissimo" (S03E10).
Single Action Army
On Los Amantes Clandestinos, the Spanish-language soap opera, a female character (Celeste Cruz) fires a Single Action Army prop weapon at the Generalissimo in "Generalissimo" (3.10).
Glock 19
Glock 19s are seen often, especially in the later seasons.
Dueling Pistols
George Treadbury (Benjamin Jay Davis) holds a set of dueling pistols in a cutaway in "Hey, Baby, What's Wrong?: Part 1" (S06E06).
Raven Arms MP-25
Jenna (Jane Krakowski) searches the couch cushions for her pistol, a Raven Arms MP-25, in "Standards and Practices" (S06E11), but her daughter Jessica (Heléne Yorke) already has it.
Shotguns
Double-barreled shotgun
Jesse Parcell (Sean Hayes) fires a double barreled shotgun at his cousin Kenneth (Jack McBrayer) when he helps Tracy Jordan escape from his house in "Hiatus" (1.21). A double barreled shotgun is also seen in a montage in the end credits of "Murphy Brown Lied to Us" (S06E18), parodying Clint Eastwood's Chrysler commercial from Super Bowl XLVI.
Mossberg 500 Cruiser
Shane Hunter (Will Ferrell) wields a Mossberg 500 Cruiser in a cutaway to fictional NBC series Bitch Hunter in "Lee Marvin vs. Derek Jeter" (S04E17).
Rifles
M16A2
The NYPD officers encountered by Floyd and Liz in "Cleveland" (1.20) each carry an M16A2 rifle.
Atlas rifle
Jesse Parcell (Sean Hayes), Kenneth's cousin, keeps an Atlas rifle above the fireplace in his house in "Hiatus" (1.21).
Winchester Model 70
In "Somebody to Love" (2.06), C.C. (Edie Falco) talks about when she was accidentally shot by a dog with a "Riverton" hunting rifle. The weapon shown in the Lifetime movie about her life is a Winchester Model 70, representing the fictional "Riverton" rifle. (The "Riverton Rifle" is actually a nickname for former NHL player Reggie Leach).
Remington Model 700
Jack is seen posing with a Remington Model 700 in "Apollo, Apollo" (S03E16).
Winchester Model 1873
In the fifth season episode "Brooklyn Without Limits" (S05E07), Rhode Island congressional candidate Steven Austin (John Slattery) carries a Winchester Model 1873 in one of his campaign ads.
Colt Law Enforcement Carbine
NYPD ESU officers are armed with Colt Law Enforcement Carbines when they come to arrest Kenneth in "Plan B" (S05E18).
AKM
Frank (Judah Friedlander) climbs out of a dumpster with what is most likely a replica or Airsoft AK-47 in "Dance Like Nobody's Watching" (S06E01).
Unidentifiable AK-type
North Korean guards are seen with unidentifiable AK-type rifles in "The Return of Avery Jessup" (S06E21).
Other
Air Guns
Jack shoots rats with an air gun in "The Shower Principle" (S06E15).
Palmer Cap-Chur Long Range Projector
Tracy and his son George Foreman (Dante E. Clark) pretend to hunt Kenneth with Palmer Cap-Chur Long Range Projectors in "Meet the Woggels!" (S06E17).
Mk 2 Hand Grenade
Colleen Donaghy (Elaine Stritch) holds up a Mk 2 hand grenade in "My Whole Life Is Thunder" (S07E08).
