= Other =
Located at various places in enemy occupied territory throughout the game are many different types of booby traps. The types of booby traps that can be found include an improvised explosive device triggered by a trip wire and naval mines. Another IED can be seen at the beginning of Tet Offensive, when several VC suicide bombers(called "sappers" in the game) rush the bunker you are defending. Each of them armed only with what appears to be a high-explosive shell attached to the tip of a bamboo spear, which they will attempt to use as a "lunge mine". All of these weapons and explosive devices appear to be generic in design(not simulating any specific real world weapons or explosive devices), and can only be disarmed or destroyed by the player.
