Revenge (Revanșa) is a 1978 Romanian crime movie directed by Sergiu Nicolaescu and starring himself as Police Commissioner Tudor Moldovan. The story continues A Police Commissioner Accuses (Un comisar acuza) (1974) and takes place in January 1941 in Bucharest, when pro-Nazi Iron Guard organisation (also known as "Legion") raise a rebellion against general Antonescu who was de facto ruler of Romania. Commissioner Moldovan continues his personal struggle against his archenemy Paraipan (Gheorghe Dinica).
The following weapons are seen in the movie Revenge (Revanșa):
Handguns
Smith & Wesson Victory Model
The personal weapon of Police Commissioner Tudor Moldovan (Sergiu Nicolaescu) is a Smith & Wesson Victory Model revolver, like it is in other movies about this character. Same revolvers are also seen in hands of Iron Guard legionnaires.
Arminius HW-3
In one scene a Paraipan's henchman is armed with Arminius HW-3 revolver.
Mauser C96
Paraipan (Gheorghe Dinica) and several of his men carry Mauser C96 pistols. The story calls them the same Mauser M712 Schnellfeuers that were seen in A Police Commissioner Accuses but none of the Mausers in Revenge has the fire selector, so they are most likely standard "Broomhandles".
Steyr M1912
Steyr M1912 pistols are seen in hands of Iron Guard legionnaires.
Luger P08 Pistol
Luger P08 pistols are also seen in hands of Iron Guard legionnaires.
Walther P38
Walther P38 pistols are also seen in hands of Iron Guard legionnaires.
Submachine Guns
MP40
MP40 submachine guns are used by Iron Guard legionnaires. German soldiers are also armed with MP40s.
MP38
MP38 submachine guns are also used by Iron Guard legionnaires, but less often than MP40s.
Rifles
Romanian contract Vz. 24 Rifle
Romanian contract Vz. 24 rifles are used by Iron Guard legionnaires and Romanian army. They are also seen in hands of German soldiers, impersonating Karabiner 98k rifes.
Machine Guns
ZB-30
The license built Romanian version of the Czechoslovak ZB-30 light machine gun is used by the Romanian army during the street battles against the Iron Guard in January 1941. A ZB-30 is also seen in the final scene in the last refuge of Iron Guard leaders.
ZB-53
A ZB-53 is seen in the final scene in the last refuge of Iron Guard leaders.
