MAB Model R-22 ("Le Chasseur" in US Market) - .22 LR or .22 Short

Model R is one of many pistols manufactured by French company Manufacture d'armes de Bayonne (MAB). This pistol appeared at first as R-32 Longue in 1950 in 7.65 x 22mm Longue caliber. In 1951 two more versions were introduced - R-32 in 7.65×17mm Browning and R-9 in 9x19mm Par calibers. Of these versions only R-9 was produced but in small numbers. R-22 version in .22 LR and .22 Short was manufactured in 1954-1965.
