Violent Naples (original title Napoli violenta, also released as Death Dealers) is a 1976 Italian crime movie, a sequel to Violent City (1975), followed in turn by A Special Cop in Action (1976). Unlike the first and the third movies of the trilogy, this film is directed by Umberto Lenzi. Maurizio Merli appears again as Commissioner Betti who is transferred to Naples and is now waging a war against the Camorra boss, known as "The General".
The following weapons were used in the film Violent Naples (Napoli violenta):
Handguns
Beretta M1951
Commissioner Betti (Maurizio Merli) and other police detectives, as well as various criminals use Beretta M1951 pistols.
Mauser C99
An assassin in Genoa uses a Mauser C99 pistol. This model of "Broomhandle" can be distinguished for its typical "slab side".
Walther P38
A Walther P38 is used by one of Franco Casagrande's henchmen during the bank heist. In the final scene Commissioner Betti (Maurizio Merli) fires a P38.
Riva Esterina Dobermann
In several scenes an unnamed robber (Luciano Rossi) uses a snub nose revolver that appears to be a Riva Esterina Dobermann due to the shape of the front sight and the ejector rod socket. Another snub nose revolver is seen in the car of Casagrande's gang.
Unidentified revolvers
In one scene "The General"'s henchman fires a revolver from a car.
Francesco Capuano's bodyguard Maffei (Giovanni Cianfriglia) carries a revolver.
In the final scene "The General" (Barry Sullivan) appears with a revolver.
Submachine Guns
Beretta M12
A Beretta M12 is used by Franco Casagrande (Elio Zamuto). M12s are also used by police.
Sten Mk II
Two of Franco Casagrande's henchmen (Franco Marino and Domenico Di Costanzo) carry Sten Mk II SMGs during bank heists.
Star Si35
In one scene a plainclothes police detective holds a submachine gun that appears to be a Spanish Star Si35 (also known as RU35 and TN35).
