Gloria is a 1980 drama starring Gena Rowlands as the title character, a former mob mistress who goes on the run after she takes in a young boy whose family was targeted by enforcers. The film was written and directed by Rowlands' husband John Cassavetes, who frequently collaborated with his wife on several films. A feature film remake directed by Sidney Lumet with Sharon Stone in the title role was released in 1999.
