Sondra Locke (1944-2018) was an American actress who was perhaps best known for her long term relationship with actor/director [[Clint Eastwood]] from 1975 to 1989, and appearing in many of the films [[Clint Eastwood|Eastwood]] either starred or directed during the 1970's and 1980's, including ''[[The Outlaw Josey Wales]]'', ''[[The Gauntlet]]'', ''[[Bronco Billy]]'' and the 1983 [[Dirty Harry]] film ''[[Sudden Impact]]''. In 1968, Locke made her acting debut in ''The Heart Is a Lonely Hunter'', a role for which she was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. She would later go on to direct several feature films, including 1990's ''[[Impulse]]''. She passed away at the age of 74 on November 3, 2018. | |||

Sondra Locke (1944-2018) was an American actress who was perhaps best known for her long term relationship with actor/director Clint Eastwood from 1975 to 1989, and appearing in many of the films Eastwood either starred or directed during the 1970's and 1980's, including The Outlaw Josey Wales, The Gauntlet, Bronco Billy and the 1983 Dirty Harry film Sudden Impact. In 1968, Locke made her acting debut in The Heart Is a Lonely Hunter, a role for which she was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. She would later go on to direct several feature films, including 1990's Impulse. She passed away at the age of 74 on November 3, 2018.
