Here Lies the Border Zdes prokhodit granitsa ) is a Soviet B&W 1975 (according to various sources, filmed in 1971, 1973 or (most credible) 1974) adventure mini series directed by Eduard Khachaturov and Yuri Stepchuk. The series depicts the story of Soviet border guards officer Yakov Koreshnikov (Yuri Dedovich ) from 1920s until 1970s (Ep.1 is set in 1926 and 1936, Ep.2 in 1942 and Ep.3 in early 1970s) and his encounters with Abzal (Nabi Rakhimov ), a Basmach in 1920s and later foreign spy and saboteur.
