Streets of Fire. A Rock & Roll Fable is a 1984 neo-noir action movie directed by Walter Hill. A Rock & Roll singer Ellen Aim (Diane Lane) is kidnapped during the concert by a biker gang, led by Raven Shaddock (Willem Dafoe). Tom Cody (Michael Paré), a retired soldier and Ellen ex-boyfriend, is hired to rescue her. The movie was intended to start a trilogy about the adventures of Tom Cody but the failure at the box office puts an end to these plans. Nevertheless, Albert Pyun made an unofficial sequel Road to Hell in 2008, with reappearance of Paré as Cody and Deborah Van Valkenburgh as Cody's sister.
The following weapons were used in the film Streets of Fire:
Handguns
Browning Hi-Power
McCoy (Amy Madigan) carries a Browning Hi-Power in shoulder holster.
Ruger Redhawk
A stainless steel Ruger Redhawk with a 4.2" barrel and squared butt is among the guns, purchased by Tom Cody (Michael Paré) from Pete the Mechanic (John Dennis Johnston). Unlike two other Tom's guns, Marlin Model 336 and Ithaca 37, the revolver has only limited use. The revolver lacks both front and rear sights. It is entirely possible that this is the same exact gun seen in A Low Down Dirty Shame.
Various revolvers
In several scenes police officers carry revolvers in holsters. Only grips are seen.
Shotguns
Ithaca 37
During the confrontation of the road block Tom Cody (Michael Paré) uses an Ithaca 37 shotgun with pistol grip and extended magazine tube. The shotgun has stainless or nickel finish. In the same scene Ardmore PD officer Harry (Peter Jason) and several of his colleagues carry standard Ithaca 37 shotguns. Some civilians and bikers also carry Ithacas.
Winchester Model 1897
In the climactic scene Winchester Model 1897 shotguns are hold by Richmond PD officers, citizens and bikers.
Rifles
Marlin Model 336
The main weapon used by Tom Cody (Michael Paré) during the rescue of Ellen Aim is a Marlin Model 336 lever action rifle with stainless or nickel finish.
Winchester Model 1892
In the climactic scene most Richmond PD officers and Richmond citizens are armed with Winchester Model 1892 lever action rifles.
M1 Carbine
In the climactic scene several bikers carry M1 Carbines.
