Rebel Without a Cause is a 1955 coming of age drama directed by Nicholas Ray that stars James Dean as a young teen who runs into trouble at the new high school he starts attending. The film co-starred Natalie Wood and Sal Mineo.

Plato (Sal Mineo) takes a nickel-plated Colt Model 1903 Pocket Hammer with pearl grips from his mother's bed. He uses it in the abandoned house.
