Mirage (original Latvian title Mirāža, Russian title Мираж) is a Soviet Latvian 1983 crime mini-series directed by Aloiz Brench and based on the novel The World In My Pocket by James Hadley Chase.
The following weapons were used in the film Mirage (1983):
Handguns
M1911
The first pistol used by Ed Black (Ints Burans) is an original M1911. Later he switches it to M1911A1, taken from Frank Morgan.
M1911A1
During the movie Frank Morgan (Regimantas Adomaitis), Ed Black (Ints Burans), Al Kitson (Martins Vilsons) and various police officers and security guards carry M1911A1 pistols.
Custom Nagant M1895 Revolver
Ginny Gordon's (Mirdza Martinsone) personal weapon is a Nagant M1895 revolver with a very short sawn-off barrel so the revolver distantly resembles Colt Detective Special. In the final scene the same movie prop is carried by Police commissioner Delaney (Martins Verdins).
Rifles
TOZ-8 Rifle
A TOZ-8 small caliber bolt action rifle with PSO-1 sniper scope is used by Ed Black (Ints Burans) during the robbery.
Sturmgewehr 44 (visually modified to resemble M16)
A Sturmgewehr 44, visually modified to resemble M16, is used by Frank Morgan (Regimantas Adomaitis) during the robbery in restaurant. In the final scene Ed Black (Ints Burans) fires this assault rifle at US Army soldiers who are armed with similar weapons.
Other Weapons
Dummy Training Grenade
In the final scene a dummy training stick grenade is used by a US Army soldier (though it doesn't resemble any of USA hand grenades).
