April 9th or 9. April is a 2015 Danish war film. The title of the film comes from April 9th, 1940 when Nazi German forces invaded and occupied Denmark. The film focuses on a bicycle infantry company and their efforts to hold off the German forces until reinforcements arrive.

The Bergmann-Bayard Model 1910/21 appears as the standard issue sidearm of the Danish officers.
Rifles
Krag-Jørgensen Model 1889
Many Danish soldiers in the film are shown carrying the Krag-Jørgensen Model 1889. The ones seen in the film appears to be the infantry carbine with a straight bolt handle and the artillery carbine with a bent bolt handle.
Karabiner 98k
Like many movies of the Second World War, German soldiers in the film are equipped with Karabiner 98k rifles.
Submachine Guns

In addition to Karabiner 98k rifles, several German soldiers are seen with MP40 submachine guns.

Madsen Machine Gun
The Madsen machine gun appears as the machine gun used by Danish forces to fight against the Germans.

What appears to be a MG42 can be seen mounted on a BMW R75 Motorcycle. It is most likley standing in for the MG34 as the MG42 had not been developed yet.
