Guards at Sona are usually carrying M16A2 rifles. Policemen are seen with M16A2 rifles in "Interference" (S3E05), when they stop Link and Sofia.
M16A4
Snipers at Sona are armed with M16A4 rifles fitted with RIS handguards and scopes. A good view of an M16A4 is shown in "Good Fences" (S3E04). Another M16A4 is seen in "Interference" (S3E05), when Michael is scouting the snipers with binoculars. Captain Hurtado (Alex Fernandez) carries one on his back in "Photo Finish" (S3E06).
