Gregory Nicotero (born March 15, 1963) is an American special effects creator and actor. He is one of the founders of KNB Efx Group, a special effects studio which has gone on to work on over 400 film and television projects. Nicotero created special effects for such movies as Invasion U.S.A. (1985), Predator (1987), Army of Darkness (1992), Pulp Fiction (1994), Eraser (1996), From Dusk Till Dawn (1996), Once Upon a Time in Mexico (2003), Sin City (2005), Casino Royale (2006), Predators (2010) and many others. He also is the special make-up effects supervisor and co-executive producer of the acclaimed AMC television series The Walking Dead and has directed numerous episodes of the series. As an actor, Nicotero has appeared in about 20 movies, often uncredited.
