Bates Motel is the television adaptation of the 1960 Alfred Hitchcock-directed film Psycho. Set several years prior to the events of the film, the series followed a young Norman Bates (Freddie Highmore) as he tries to deal with a mental illness while living with his mother Norma (Vera Farmiga). The series premiered in 2013 and aired for 5 seasons on A&E until 2017.

Remo Wallace (Ian Tracey) uses a Jericho 941 to threaten Dylan when Bradley tries to enter in her dad's office in "Underwater" (S1E09).
SIG-Sauer P228
In "Gone But Not Forgotten" (S2E01), Bradley Martin (Nicola Peltz) finds a SIG-Sauer P228 in a box and tries to kill herself with it. Bradley fires the pistol at the end of the episode.
Smith & Wesson 5904
Deputy Zack Shelby draws a Smith & Wesson model 5904 when he discovers the Asian woman Jiao hiding in one of the motel rooms and then uses one to hold the Bates family at gunpoint before losing it when Norman attacks him. It has a squared trigger guard, making it an early model.
Para-Ordnance P-14
Dylan Massett (Max Thieriot) is seen carrying an early version of the Para-Ordnance P-14 Limited as his sidearm during the series. Dylan uses the Para-Ordance to force a trimmer to get out of his truck in "A Boy and His Dog" (S1E08). Alex Romero (Nestor Carbonell) grabs and fires a Two Tone Para-Ordnance P-14 in "Norma Louise" (S3E06).
Walther P99 (Two-tone)
A two tone Walther P99 is used by Jake Abernathy (Jere Burns) to threaten Norma Bates (Vera Farmiga) in "Underwater" (S1E09).

Pierre (Shaun Omaid) is seen holding a Rossi Model 971 with an unfluted cylinder when he ambushes Caleb and Dylan in "The Pit" (S3E08). In the same episode, Dylan fires the revolver.
