A Touch of Cloth is a British television comedy crime series written by Charlie Brooker. Much like Police Squad!, it satirises and spoofs police procedural shows, albeit in a much darker manner.

The title is a play on another British detective series, "A Touch of Frost" as well as the euphamism "to touch cloth" (being almost at the point of soiling oneself). Set in the fictional City of Town, it stars John Hannah as the brilliant but troubled Detective Inspector Jack Cloth, and Suranne Jones as his partner Detective Constable (later Inspector) Anne Oldman.
