Have Gun - Will Travel was a Western television series that starred Richard Boone as a gunfighter who calls himself "Paladin" and traveled throughout the West, using his revolver to right wrongs for those who come to hire him. The half-hour series aired in the US on CBS from 1957 to 1963 and several of the writers from the series would come to be well known in the business, including Star Trek's Gene Roddenberry. In addition, 101 episodes were directed by Andrew V. McLaglen.
