Talk:Taken 3: Difference between revisions
According to the Taken 3 official weapons site, Bryan Mills (Liam Neeson) is seen loading a Heckler & Koch USP pistol in his rabbit hole. However, the USP is not seen used in the film at any point.
Is it worth noting somewhere Neeson mouthed off about the Second Amendment and now the company which provided all the guns in this movie is now boycotting any project he's attached to?--That's the Way It's Done (talk) 03:43, 24 January 2015 (EST) Forgot to sign my post there.

: Not necessarily here on the talk page, I think. That's not what it's really for. StanTheMan (talk) 12:33, 24 January 2015 (EST)
: That's not quite 100% accurate, but in any event this is not necessarily something to bring up here on the talk page, I think. That's not what it's really for - Going off on unrelated political points has caused problems on discussion pages before. Might be best to either take this to the forums or leave it entirely. :: Oh, I understand completely. We're an industry page and I sincerely don't want to stir things up. The only reason I mentioned it is because it's somewhat unique and it does pertain to the sorts of things this wiki covers. --That's the Way It's Done (talk) 23:06, 24 January 2015 (EST)

Is that a positive ID? I just watched the movie and heard the slide being racked a couple of times by Neeson's character during the final firefight. I even went as far as to do a frame by frame replay and am sure I saw Neeson pumping the weapon. --Charon68 (talk) 22:10, 3 April 2015 (EDT)
: Screencap looks to me like it has a pump-grip forearm, so I'd have to say it's a shorty M3 Benelli and not an M4. StanTheMan (talk) 00:11, 4 April 2015 (EDT)

During the fight between Malankov and Bryan, Malankov's SCAR-L appears to briefly turn into some type of AR-15-style carbine as he rolls down the stairs. The general profile and carrying handle are recognizable in the wide shots, particularly from overhead; while the closeup of the rifle as he hits the floor clearly shows an AR-pattern collapsing stock, lower receiver (with the extra magazines seen with the SCAR now missing) and triangular front sight. It's likely a non-firing replica, as I was unable to make out a trigger inside the trigger guard and the front sight appears broken. (Sorry, I was unable to get screen caps.)
