:I concur with Iver Johnson. I also think that revolvers, identified as Smith & Wesson Schofield and Smith & Wesson .44 Double Action, seem to be the same gun, and .44 Double Action appears to be a better guess than Schofield (the screen revolver lacks the long bar under the barrel that is typical for Schofield). - I concur with Iver Johnson. I also think that revolvers, identified as Smith & Wesson Schofield and Smith & Wesson .44 Double Action, seem to be the same gun, and .44 Double Action appears to be a better guess than Schofield (the screen revolver lacks the long bar under the barrel that is typical for Schofield).
