Pillbox (Dot) is a Russian-Ukrainian 2009 war movie directed by Anatoliy Mateshko. In September 1941 a small group of Soviet soldiers under command of Capt. Leonov are surrounded by German troops in a pillbox. A Soviet liaison plane is shot down in vicinity, and General Gordeev and female pilot Anna join the garrison of pillbox. An inexperienced but overconfident German Captain plans to capture the Soviet General at any cost.

In one scene Hauptmann von Wuttke (David Zimmerschied) fires a flare pistol to signal the attack. It is seen unclear but the general shape matches Soviet SPSh Flare Pistol rather than any of German flare pistols.
