<p><b>New page</b></p><div>Born & raised in Brooklyn NYC. Reported for draft into US Army on the day Nixon announced the mining of Haiphong harbor during Vietnam war. MP with expert marksman rating for M1911A1 pistol, M16 & M14. Completed sniper training. Paid $75, filled out forms & got fingerprinted for a "permit to purchase a handgun" in New Jersey. Fourteen months later I received a call from a NJ state trooper that they were ready to process my permit request. I told him that I was about to leave for Germany & he replied that he guessed that I no longer would need the permit. I asked that I get back my $75. He replied, no, and hung up. I was captain of the Forces Command, then All Army Champion Combat Pistol teams for 2 years. I still have ringing in my ears. LOL</div>Zackmann08
