'''''The Vexxer''''' is a 2007 German film comedy and the sequel to the 2004 film ''[[The Trixxer|Der Wixxer]]'' which both parody the Edgar Wallace adaptations of the 1950s and 1960s. The subtitle "Still not based on a novel by Edgar Wallace" also testifies to this. Chief Inspector Even Longer and Inspector Very Long are once again investigating together on behalf of Scotland Yard in an already well-known case: he is once again on the loose in London; that terrible supervillain who, in his ghastly costume, has been terrifying the British capital for years. Also this time Longer and his always good-humored partner Long do not give up so easily.

At the end of the film, a sequel ''Triple WixXx'' is announced, but it was canceled in 2015.
