			:I think it is an AK pattern rifle of some sort, looks like there is the AK scope mount on the left side of the gun above the trigger area. Also, it looks like there could be a small pump at the front of the handguard with the horizontal slot for the pump to run in going back along the handguard, so at a guess I would say it could be a Romanian PAR:

When the troops engage the Dreads, one of them gets wounded in the leg and feels pain, so they're definitely human. In the film, the Dread areas are set up so that the humans can be in a place where there aren't any surrogates around them. 	::I zoomed in the shot. Its' definitely a '''Winchester Model 1200''' with the old style police forend. Even though We don't have a pic of the 1200 with that style of furniture on IMFDB it IS the same shotgun and I have one just like that. What threw me off was that the furniture looked really dark, and all examples that I have of the 1200 in that configuration had almost blonde/light brown wood. Check out the 'diamond' angle at the rear of the receiver into the buttstock. It is definitely a Winchester.
