	:I think the pistol it most resembles is the [[Chamelot-Delvigne Model 1873]]. Is not a 100% match as it lacks the ejector, but there are several telling points that suggest this is what it is based on, such as the unfluted cylinder with the raised portion at the back, the reloading gate, and the large screw on the frame ahead of the cylinder. 	::Almost a year later, here's a third suggestion. Like the above [[Chamelot-Delvigne Model 1873]], it doesn't quite match, but how about the [[Webley RIC]]??? Even though this revolver does not have the same screws on the frame and it has a bigger ejection rod, it certainly may have inspired the animation artists for this movie.
