			The IMBEL Mq M968 7,62 (official naming) is actually chambered in 7,62x51mm NATO rounds, and share the same barrel and chamber of the IMBEL Fz M964 7,62 "FAL". The M968 is called MosqueFAL because of their appearance. This weapon is used in the basic training at OMA (active service military bases) and as the main weapon in OMFR (reserve training military bases). The weapon in this shot is the M968. The M968 is used in basic field training due to their superior resistance to the harsh conditions found in a basic training. Also, they're easier to repair and clean after a mud dive. 			In the opening scenes, Caio Junqueira opens fire with an unidentified scoped rifle. It might be an Imbel AGLC, but I can’t identify it with certainty. It's maybe IMBEL M/968 (old czech or belgian Mauser enhanced with new 0.308 barrel in the 60's).
			The new BOPE recruits can be seen training with rifles that are probably made in Brazil, but I can’t identify them (help requested).

It's also IMFDB policy not to distinguish between the A2 and A3, since most "M16A2s" you see in movies are actually A2 uppers on full-auto lowers. 			He's at home, practicing, dry firing, what SEEMS TO BE his personal gun (Glocks were never standart issued to Military Police in Brazil).
			If so, it's quite possible that it's a Glock 25 in .380ACP, since in '97 it was (and still is) quite hard for someone (even an aspiring police officer) to purchase a weapon in 9mmP (because it's the caliber used by our armed forces).
			So many cops (and EVERY common citizen) buy guns in .380 for their personal protection and off-duty carry.
