			It should be noted that the SIG P210s shown here are stand-ins for actual French military sidearms of the period, most especially the French model 1935A, which was the design basis for the P210. Additionally, the 1935S (a separate pistol from the model 1935A, with a different design from a different manufacturer, but also in 7.65 long) and 9mm 1950 (derived from the 1935S) would have been in use, as were assorted WWII sidearms, Allied and Axis, until replaced by the model 1950 as it became available (a process that extended into the 1960s). 	Does anybody know why sometimes movie covers are so full of anachronisms? Below cover seems to be one of the official ones, but it shows too many mistakes to be credible (for an IMFDB contributor at least). For this movie taking place in the early 1960's, it shows e.g. what looks like an [[SIG-Sauer P220 pistol series#SIG-Sauer P228\| SIG-Sauer P228]] (introduced 1988...), a few Russian Hind attack helicopters (introduced 1969...) and some other military items that seem to have been taken randomly from photostock archives.
