This gun was previously misidentified as a [[Beretta 92SB]] (because the earlier Beretta 92 variants had a heel magazine release and the [[Beretta 92F]] did not exist yet), but the grip shape is far too different for this to be the case. For instance, it appears much smaller than a full-size 92SB. It can also not be a compact [[Beretta 92SB-C\|92SB-C]] because the grip only has one screw.
