The '''Rodman Model 1861''', often known simply as the '''Rodman gun''', was the designation for a trio of large smoothbore cannons from the American Civil War era, intended for use in coastal fortifications. The Model 1861 was produced in 8-inch, 10-inch, and 15-inch varieties, nearly identical aside from their increasing size. In contrast to the over eighteen-hundred Model 1861s produced, there was also a grand total of three '''Rodman Model 1864''' guns made, one 13-inch and two 20-inch. Nearly two-hundred Rodman guns survive today, including both 20-inch guns.
