'''Maniac''' (1934, re-released later as '''Sex Maniac''') is an exploitation horror movie. Don Maxwell (William Woods), a vaudeville actor, as wanted for a crime, and the mad scientist Dr. Meirschultz (Horace Carpenter) takes him in as an assistant. However, when the mad doctor pushes Don too far, he kills to doctor and then starts to impersonate him, to throw off suspicion. Soon, Don also goes mad.
