==Smith & Wesson .38 Revolver (Non Gun)==
Sheriff Paul Shields ([[Kevin Durand]]) uses a [[Non Guns|"Non Gun" Smith & Wesson .38 Revolver]] as his chief sidearm in the film. "Non Guns" are frequently used for scenes in movies or television shows in which the use of real weapons firing blanks is deemed unsafe. They are electronically-operated and discharge small explosive squibs that make a flash and produce smoke, but they do not eject shell casings or have any moving parts besides the trigger.

Deputy Donny Saunders ([[Lukas Haas]]) carries a [[Glock]] pistol in his holster in the movie, altough it changes into a [[Non Guns|"Non Gun" Beretta 92FS]] in the film for the latter part of the film. It is probable the Glock is a stunt replica or a non-firing replica since it is never seen out of it's holster.
