'''''Color Me Blood Red''''' is a low-budget splatter movie from director [[Herschell Gordon Lewis]], part of his 1960s "Blood" trilogy, which also included ''[[Blood Feast]]'' (1963), and ''[[Two Thousand Maniacs!]]'' (1964). It follows a struggling painter who discovers that human blood works incredibly in his paintings, making him a success. He begins hunting down young people to support his growing need for blood in his artwork.

Adam Sorg ([[Gordon Oas-Heim]]) keeps a [[Cooey Model 600]] on a shelf in his house. In the finale, it is picked up by Jack ([[Jim Jaekel]]) and held on him, eventually using it to shoot him in the head. This is still up for debate, though.
