It is a sequel to the unexpectedly successful 1999 horror film ''The Blair Witch Project''.

			In its highly metafictional story, a group of obsessed fans of the original ''Blair Witch'' film embark on a tour of the town of Burkittsville, Maryland and its surrounding woods to visit locations featured in the film. They unexpectedly begin experiencing paranormal phenomena for themselves and soon find the lines between reality and fiction becoming blurred.
