	Apewar is an upcoming FPS/TPS online tactical shooter, developed and published by the Gombe Games on the Unity engine. The game was released to Early Acess on March 3rd, 2023, with the full release to be announced. 	Gombe Games stated that the inspiration for this came from the Gombe Chimpanzee War, a violent power struggle between two chimpanzee groups in the Gombe National Park, that occurred between 1974-1978. Like the warring factions in the real power struggle, players can fight for either Kahama or Kasakela, named after their real-life counterparts. The player can choose between four playable characters: Monkey, Gorilla, Chimpanzee, or Caveman, and four classes: Assault, Engineer, Support, and Scout. Several maps also feature combined warfare, where players can operate several vehicle types, ranging from buses to M1 Abrams ~~MBT~~.
