The 40-mm GP-25 under barrel grenade launcher is an issue weapon of the Russian Army. It is also used by Special Forces including SPETSNAZ of the Federal Security Service (former KGB) and Ministry of Justice, OMON and Groups of Rapid Deployment of the Ministry of Interior. In the military slang, GR-25 is sometimes referred to as "small artillery" indicating its firepower and effectiveness.

The GP-30 under barrel grenade launcher is intended for destroying manpower in open country or in uncovered trenches/foxholes, as well as on reverse slopes by direct and indirect fire, using the VOG-25 and VOG-25P caseless fragmentation rounds.

Being muzzle-loaded, the GP-30 enables to increase practical rate of fire 2-3 times compared with the US 40mm M203. The trigger mechanism is of double action.

The grenade launcher comes equipped with a leaf sight, which is used to correct grenade drift. Unlike the GP-25, the sight is mounted on the right side and requires no range adjustment.
The grenade launcher can also fire non-lethal rounds

The Jatimatic is a Finnish 9 mm submachine gun developed in the late 1970s and early 1980s by Jali Timari. The submachine gun made its debut in 1983. The Jatimatic was manufactured in very limited numbers (approx. 400) initially by Tampereen Asepaja Oy of Tampere and later - Oy Golden Gun Ltd (as the GG-95 PDW, re-introduced unsuccessfully in 1995). The firearm was designed primarily for police, security forces and armored vehicle crews. It was never adopted into service by the Finnish Defence Forces, although the later GG-95 PDW version was tested by the FDF in the 1990s; the conclusion of the tests was that the GG-95 was not suitable as a service weapon.
