After turning down Dirty Harry Wayne witnessed the movie go onto enjoy unexpected box-office success. As a result Wayne would make two modern police dramas back to back. McQ was first followed by Brannigan (1975). In addition to Wayne "McQ" also starred Eddie Albert, Clu Gulager, Al Lettieri, Roger E. Mosley and Colleen Dewhurst. It was directed by John Sturges (The Magnificent Seven, The Great Escape, The Eagle Has Landed, Ice Station Zebra, Joe Kidd). "McQ" was filmed on location in Seattle in the summer of 1973.
McQ's partner Stan Boyle (William Bryant) is shown carrying what appears to be a Python in a holster just before he is killed. Beverly Hills Cop III is the third installment in the Beverly Hills Cop trilogy. The 1994 sequel, which was directed by John Landis, finds Axel Foley (Eddie Murphy) in Beverly Hills once again when a Detroit officer is killed by gunmen linked to a Southern California amusement park.

In the film poster as well as other promotional posters/stills featuring Eddie Murphy's character Axel Foley, you can clearly see he is holding a Hungarian FEG P9R - A Hi-Power copy. The differences between the two is that unlike the Hi-Power, it features a: SA/DA trigger, slide mounted safety and decocker as well as a more noticeable oval trigger guard as opposed to the oblong shape of the Browning. In addition as a side note, the FEG pistols were often cheaper but imported in lesser numbers to the US.
The TV advertisement for the Annihilator states the following : "A new generation of luxury personal weaponry, the Annihilator 2000 is America's premier survival, home and travel security unit. == Supernova (2000) Movie ==

Supernova is a science fiction movie released in 2000. Set in the early 22nd century, members of the space-bound emergency rescue and medical vessel 'Nitingale 229' receive a distress call from an abandoned mining facility in a far away distant galaxy. The young man they rescue however, along with the precious alien artifact he brings onboard, poses a serious danger to the ship and it's crew.
The second weapon is a futuristic grappling hook/harpoon gun, fitted with a Nydar reflex sight in one scene. I presume the gun is based off an M32 grenade launcher given its inherent design.

Supernova (2000) Movie
Supernova is a science fiction movie released in 2000. Set in the early 22nd century, members of the space-bound emergency rescue and medical vessel 'Nitingale 229' receive a distress call from an abandoned mining facility in a far away distant galaxy. The young man they rescue however, along with the precious alien artifact he brings onboard, poses a serious danger to the ship and it's crew.

The first weapon appears to be a Sig P226 fitted with a futuristic laser attachment of some sorts. In the movie it doesn't appear to fire standard ammunition, but perhaps some type of case-less ammo powered by plasma energy or whatever.

The second weapon is a futuristic grappling hook/harpoon gun, fitted with a Nydar reflex sight in one scene. I presume the gun is based off an M32 grenade launcher given its inherent design.
