Well firstly, I thought the first shotgun was a M1014, but then I saw it and knew the difference. The second shotgun, might be a shortened Remington, but the darkened place makes the shotgun hard to see. The third shotgun, the one carried by the thug. It might be a Remington or a Mossberg or even a Winchester.

The pistol looked liked a Colt M1911 or something similar.

The Sniper rifle, the body work looked like it was fitted onto something, as to make it look like a M40, so it might be a Accuracy International Arctic Warfare with an added bodywork.

The snub nosed revolver. I'm actually starting to think it's a S&W, but model wise, I'm not sure because there are different types of S&W revolvers that are snub nosed.

Well first off, I felt that Chris Ryan's Strike Back, since it being a good show, and having a plentiful of firearms in it, I saw no reason why it should not be on here. So I decided to do it myself. I didn't upload images, because 1) I lack the knowhow, 2) I was afraid of messing up and 3) I'm a bit afraid of copyright issues.

==Why this pages is marked No effort==
Per the IMFDB rules, it pretty much states '''"either make a complete decent page or don't do it at all".''' There are too many incomplete pages that some IMFDB members just zoom in, make and zoom away to do other things, leaving the rest of us to try to complete. That is no longer acceptable. Your page for example: The title needs to conform to the IMDB title of the series. Check with IMDB for the official title. Being a foreign (to us Americans) tv show, we don't have the immediate access to doing screencaps to help out the page and we don't want a lame page sitting on IMFDB for months (sometimes years). There are shows like Primevel, etc. which are aired here in the U.S. and also sold as DVD packs in our stores so you probably noticed that IMFDB who know how to make screenshots are slowly helping out those pages. But that's the rub. It's irritating for some members to just do the easy work and leave the "heavy lifting" for other members. IMFDB is slowing starting to not tolerate that. Learn how to do screencaps. Learn how to google the movie poster or TV poster or DVD cover or SOME sort of promotional poster and put it in the page. Pages like this can WAIT until someone gets the DVD set and begins to properly screencap it. We have people who are fans of all these foreign shows all over the world. We have people putting pages for Japanese, Chinese, Indian, German, Russian, South African shows etc. etc.. Some of them we can see here in the States. Some of them we cannot. If members want to be representatives of their countries, they must create good pages, or away they go. We've done this DANCE many times before with people before you. Now, some of the Asian and Bollywood users are getting used to the IMFDB standards and are starting to make good pages. But in the past, we've had to DELETE a bunch of horrid pages from foreign users who just didn't get it.

Now the NO EFFORT tag is not a mark of death. It just means that the page is being watched and if NO IMPROVEMENT is seen over the course of 1-2 weeks, it will be on the fast track for deletion. Also Deletion is not the end. A page can be resurrected at any time if the user has the poster, screencaps, etc. ready to upload. It doesn't take much to keep a page from being deleted, but if the page doesn't even fulfill that minimum requirements, then it is gone. The barrel on this gun is definitely too short to be a G3K, but it looks like it is slightly too long to be an MC51, is there anything in-between? Hank's Glock is .40 cal as stated in the first episode so its a Glock 22 not a 17. Also here are the other guns from the first season: S&W4506, Ruger GP100, HK416, and in the first episode of season two jesse buys a snub nosed 5 shot revolver.

:They were too short to be M4s. Some of them had 10" barrels (Mark 18 length), while others had the 6.5" barrels (Olympic Arms K23B length). All had full-length rail forearms, most had iron sights, and different types of stocks. This is actually a 5906TSW. I base this on three things. 1) the bore size is too small compared to the end of the guide rod to be a .45 2) there is only a single digit before "Tactical" on the slide. The 5906 and 5903 say "9 Tactical" and the 40 and 45 say "40 Tactical" and "45 Tactical", respectively. 3) the gun grip has a curved backstrap. == Season 5 Part 2 ==

I've been watching the new episodes as they're aired and I've noticed the following weapons:
Walt's M60 machine gun makes a brief appearance in the first episode, S05E09 "Blood Money". In S05E10, "Buried", we see a sniper rifle leaning on a railing at Declan's cook site. It appears to be a Remington 700PSS and closely resembles the rifle used by Gaff in S04E09 "Bug". Also in this episode, we see an AA-12 with a drum magazine in the hands of Kenny, while Jack carries a Browning Hi-Power and Todd has an unknown pistol tucked in his waistband. Two White Power gunmen are also seen with an M4A1 and a pump-action shotgun with an extended magazine tube. In S05E11, "Confessions", Jesse is seen taking what appears to be a Seecamp LWS-32 from Saul's desk, which he uses to threaten Saul and Huell. Shortly afterward, Walt is seen taking a 5-shot .38 snub-nosed revolver out of its hiding place inside a Coke machine at the carwash. My best guess would be a Smith & Wesson Model 442. The intent of the writers may have been to imply that this was the same revolver Walt used to kill Mike (the fate of which we never learned). In S05E12, "Rabid Dog", Walt is seen with the .38 revolver again while searching his house. Also in this episode, Hank holds his newly reissued Glock 22 on Jesse when he discovers him trying to burn down Walt's house. In S05E13, "To'hajiilee", Walt is again seen with the .38 revolver, although he discards it when he gives himself up to Hank. Hank again carries a Glock 22 in this episode, and while Steve Gomez is seen with a Glock in his holster in prior episodes, he is seen carrying a Mossberg 590 when he, Hank, and Jesse track Walt into the desert. This may be the same gun seen in "Buried". When the White Power crew arrives at the scene, Jack and Kenny are again armed with a Browning Hi-Power and an AA-12 respectively, while Todd carries an unknown handgun with a nickel, stainless, or chrome slide (possibly a Kahr K9 or variant). The other three White Power gunmen are armed with two M4A1s and what appears to be a Browning Automatic Rifle with its bipod folded.

The Ruger 10/22 is a very popular sporting weapon, named based on its .22 caliber and 10 round magazine capacity (however it can take a variety of high capacity aftermarket magazines). The gun is very popular in customization and many after market parts can be bought to customize the rifle. Heavily customized models have been used in many marksmanship competitions. The Ruger 10/22 is currently available in .22 Long Rifle, formerly available in .22 Magnum and .17 HMR. (10/22 magnum and 10/17) but no longer. Rimfire magnum models were discontinued in 2006 due to disappointing sales. As they did for the Mini-14, Sturm Ruger & Co. changed the 10/22 in 2005, offering a cheaper matte blued finish on the barrel and changing out the trigger guard from metal to plastic as well as a few other cosmetic differences.

The Ruger 10/22 has been used in covert military operations around the world, usually as a dedicated Suppressed rifle. With subsonic ammunition, the suppressed shots from the 10/22 are essentially silent. The only sound you hear is the action racking back and forth. The IDF routinely carried suppressed and scoped Ruger 10/22s during the years of the "Intifada" in the West Bank and other places. The IDF snipers would "kneecap" the rioters' ringleaders from a distance, as crippling them was seen as preferable to killing them with conventional sniper rifles.

It was his Hooker's girlfriend. The movie was moving slow so I didn't get a good look at it but he finds it in her purse. Also, for a uber-gunsmith am I the only one who finds it pathetic the best he can come up with is a Mini-14 for something "with the functionality of a sub-gun and the accuracy of an assault rifle [sic]?" It doesn't spoil anything for those who feel like wasting their money but the parameters she gives if I can remember correctly are:

- Target is at 150 to 175 yards
- "Silenced" to which for Clooney's part he suggests suppressed
- Rapid fire
- Able to fit in a vanity bag. Clooney amends it to a briefcase.

If I was the uber-gunsmith I would probably come up with something a little better. And because he has the barrel shipped to him he might as well just dish out for a nice supressor from AAC as opposed to running around town collecting parts.

And you'd have left an easy to follow paper trail, not exactly something an assassin wants. Buying a suppressor is something entirely different to buying a gun. speaking about the Ruger, it's a weapon that wouldn't leave a distinct paper trail, as opposed to more fanciful weapons fitting that description.

Might be my eyes playing tricks on me but it looked to me like he had a PPK/S in Sweden and a PPK in the Italian scenes. I would not even consider this a huge continuity gaffe - perhaps he ditched one in transit.

*(Spoiler alert) As I thought the film was sort of a remake of 'The Mechanic' or of something involving a hitman in the 70's, a Bond superspy in the 60's or a cowboy in the 50s I was way ahead of the final plot twist until the bit near the end when the schoolbus drives up. I thought at last the well dressed hitwoman's requirements of her weapon that she required would fall into the plot-the silenced rapid fire rifle that fits in a handbag and costs $9.99 (with a free set of steak knives if you buy before midnight) would make sense as a weapon of choice to hit a schoolbus full of screaming rugrats (rather than just George). I'm not really familiar with the mini 14, but it appears that the rifle barrel in the film is threaded and attaches mid-length at the gas block, yet the breech of the barrel should still be in the same place at the bolt head. This would mean the barrel is in two sections that screw together in the middle. Can anyone tell me, is this possible? Am I missing something? Is this how the mini 14 is designed? If so, I've never seen a rifle barrel like this before. I would think it unlikely that the rifling would always match up perfectly or that such a threaded joint in the middle of the barrel could safely withstand the pressure of firing. Someone please educate me.

The Rifle he pulls from the packaging is a Ruger Ranch Rifle (scope ring base integrated in the receiver.) The Stock is clearly a Ruger factory folding stock, the receiver is clearly a Ranch Rifle, and the barrel is clearly an old style tapered thin barrel with an old style blade sight. Interestingly once he builds it, he puts an anodized pink aluminum B-Square side-plate mounted scope base on it, when the ranch rifle receiver has a built-in scope base. The suppressor, which he accurately states is a suppressor, not a "silencer" is home-made. The crazy-ass ammunition which he files off and drills out to put liquid mercury in the hollow point is a movie invention made to look scary.

Been awhile since Ive seen it but I remember a scene with Davis putting together a sniper rifle from parts she found in her suitcase. how she wouldn't notice the weight of the rifle in the case when empty I don't even want to guess.

The 1911a1 appears to be a Colt Gold Cup NM, it has Elliason sights, the mounting rail on the top of the slide, skeletonized trigger and hammer, and it looks like the same beavertail grip safety, although you cannot see the Gold Cup logo on the slide, this could be due to lighting or something, but it appears that the grips have the prancing pony colt logo on them. Thanks MPM, and as a disclaimer im 95% sure it is a Series '80 GC, only the logo is hard for me to see, so it could have been removed for whatever reason or just could be the lighting, I was confused about the grip safety until I realized that my GC has been further customized with an Ed Brown Memory Groove beavertail safety.

The 1911 with the pearl grips is described in the caption as "stainless" but it's not. It's blued with a great deal of the bluing worn off between the muzzle and the ejection port.

Well dude if you pay attention to the shows audience, it was a helluva a lot of kids on a friday night, they didn't want it to be to violent, but you have to give them this, of there was a tire to be shot it was shot.
I think the original was more believable cause it was back in the day no satellites and databases no APB's so its probably hard to catch them if they go all around, nowadays the show wouldn't work just to unrealistic.

About these M4s. I actually saw a picture of the A-Team running away from an explosion, in IMDB, okay and I saw Hannibal's M4 had an EOTech sight on it. No doubt about it: Hannibal's 1911 is in fact a Para-ord. The slide serrations spell it all out on this one. 6 in back - offset under sights - with 3 in front. Looks like a P14 with front cocking serrations milled, or more likely an S14 with night sights. You even see the finish in the movie, and it almost looks like they've just sprayed over the stainless. I recently saw a production still in a magazine of Hannibal and he had a shoulder holster on with what appeared to carry a 1911 variant possibly a Kimber Custom II.

Any chance at someone identifing the brand/type of shoulder holster that Hannibal uses? [[Spades of Columbia]]

Just saw the movie last night; Hannibal's 1911 is most certainly not a Kimber of any sort. Slide serrations are way off, so who knows. Almost looked like a custom slide from Caspian, but still wouldn't bet on it.

As for the leather shoulder rig, it looked a lot like a DeSantis.

To me the 1911 looks like a Para p-14 or some sort of variant, take a look at one of the promo pics where you can see it in the shoulder holster. Looks like a double-stack grip to me, but maybe my eyes are playing tricks on me.

No doubt about it: Hannibal's 1911 is in fact a Para-ord. The slide serrations spell it all out on this one. 6 in back - offset under sights - with 3 in front. Looks like a P14 with front cocking serrations milled, or more likely an S14 with night sights. You even see the finish in the movie, and it almost looks like they've just sprayed over the stainless. I recently saw a production still in a magazine of Hannibal and he had a shoulder holster on with what appeared to carry a 1911 variant possibly a Kimber Custom II.

Just saw the movie last night; Hannibal's 1911 is most certainly not a Kimber of any sort. Slide serrations are way off, so who knows. Almost looked like a custom slide from Caspian, but still wouldn't bet on it.

As for the leather shoulder rig, it looked a lot like a DeSantis.

To me the 1911 looks like a Para p-14 or some sort of variant, take a look at one of the promo pics where you can see it in the shoulder holster. Looks like a double-stack grip to me, but maybe my eyes are playing tricks on me.

He was using a stainless semi-auto with the older front blade sight, and a factory folding stock. I didn't notice what I'd call full auto firing, just rapid fire semi-auto. I believe the pic on the main page is in fact an AC-556, and not representative of the one used in the film. Well dude if you pay attention to the shows audience, it was a helluva a lot of kids on a friday night, they didn't want it to be to violent, but you have to give them this, of there was a tire to be shot it was shot.
I think the original was more believable cause it was back in the day no satellites and databases no APB's so its probably hard to catch them if they go all around, nowadays the show wouldn't work just to unrealistic.

I've watched the first episode, and the first Marines on Guadalcanal are armed with M1928A1 Thompsons (compensators, drum mags, horizontal foregrips) and M1903s. What stuck out what the high number of left handed M1903s out there. I don't know if this is because the Marines really went out of their way to issue left handed Marines left handed guns, or if the armorers for the Pacific are really accomodating. That's a Webley Mk.VI if anything - the Mk.VI had the square butt and 6" barrel, the Mk.IV had a 4" barrel and bird's head grip.

If you look closely at the weapon the warhead is clearly that of the RPG-2...the 7's predecessor. However I will admit the launcher itself has been modified to look like a 7's launcher with the addition of the rear blast cone as opposed to the 2's straight pipe configuration.

:Just saw the movie 2 nights ago. The launcher is definitely a -7, and more specifically, the Chinese Type 69 version (all of the "Russian" weapons in this movie are actually Chinese copies, including the Tokarevs, the AKs, and the RPG). However, it looks like the rocket used in the launcher (which would have been inert and non-functional, as is customary in cinema) is the PG-2, which only the RPG-2 can fire. It's more likely they'd use the wrong rocket (which is easier to do) than visually modify the launcher. But that's not an RPG-2, and not just because of the cone in the back; you can tell the body of the launcher and everything else are completely unlike that of the -2. That would be a hell of a modification.

I don't know who changed the M2 Carbine into an M1A1 Carbine but that isn't right. While being fitted with a 30 round mag doesn't make it an M2, it would be an M1 not an M1A1. An M1A1 is the paratrooper folding stock model. - [[User:Gunmaster45|Gunmaster45]]

The KGB? agents pulling their Tokarevs on Mutt are clearly carrying either real Russian TT-30 or TT-33s OR more likely Polish Wz48s as they are more common in the states. (The serration pattern on the slide matches Russian or Polish guns.) They are also fully cocked with fingers on the triggers. Eek!

I'm dubious that the "Used in the film" props were used in the film. All of the M1 Carbines seen in the film stills have bayonet mounts, which were added after WW2, however the framed prop does not. - [[User:Rugerlvr|Rugerlvr]]
