==shoulder stock==
The 93R is hardly ever seen with it's attachable shoulder stock, and I find that to be a shame. Along with the VP70Z and the souped-up P38s from The Man From UNCLE, the shoulder-stocked machine pistol should be a staple of the movie villain or antihero.

The only thing I don't like about it is the collapsable left hand grip. It hurts your hand!

The cinema is one of the few places that such a weapon enjoys any real success!

Hello,

the airsoft KSC 93R is listed on this page by mistake I believe, as the 93R model with horizontal flash hider(not compensator)holes actually does, or did exist; it was the first version of the weapon that was released before they made the holes horizontal which spread the flash better. They also removed the full-auto fire mode as it was too uncontrollable even with the added grip and stock.

It says on the main page that full-auto converted 92FSs are often mocked up to look like the 93R, which can only fire in semi-auto or 3-round-Burst. It is possible with some firearms. In the NFA community burst fire weapons are unpopular as the gun controls you not you controling the gun. With converted Beretta Model 92 bursts are a bad thing as they will eventually destroy the internals of the pistol. It means that the trigger is controlling how many bullets you fire rather than the user having the skills to fire as many bullets as needed. I don't get enough time with automatic weapons but with my admittedly limited experiance it's easy to fire a controled burst. :To answer your question, it will be a hell of a lot harder to convert a semi auto gun to burst fire as opposed to converting it to full. In order to convert a semi to full, you can accomplish this by modifying various parts of the gun such as the sear and disconnecter. However in order to get burst fire on a gun you need some sort of mechanism that counts the bullets in a burst, normally accomplished with some sort of cam. :Eh, 90 subsections is a pretty big page. I think most of the grief was because people claimed the original was next-gen graphics when actually it looks a lot like Black running on PS2. My current device is a Hauppage! (yes, with the exclaimation) HD-PVR, using component leads for input; it's completely useless for composite, mind, so I've still got my Pinnacle Dazzle if I need to record anything PS2 or earlier. It can theoretically record 1080p but it looks like ass in motion to stop you using it to copy blu-ray discs, so it's best to leave it on 720. The Hauppage one also has the advantage that it's actually designed for recording games and so has component video pass-through, so you don't have to build a snake's nest of wires and splitters to play without recording lag. Hi Funkychinaman! I've now uploaded some quite good quality pictures of the gun used by Monica in TDT (DDT). I still honestly can't say if it's a PPK, that I belived before, and do a bit now to, or a SIG-Sauer P230. I've also uploaded two new pictures of a P230 on it's discussion page, it's the two latter ones, they are blued. On those pictures an older SIG is pressented and that might be what Monica's gun is, based on the slide serrations. But please look and think for you're self, as two minds is better than one! In the first pic the Old Man is definitely holding a [[Gewehr 98]]. It sill has the large ''Lange-Visier'' rear sight and the bolt handle is at the rear of the receiver, rather than in the middle as on the M71/84. The second pic could be a M71/84; the front sight looks right and the stock appears to contain a tubular magazine. The third pic looks like a [[Mosin Nagant Rifle|Mosin-Nagant 91/30]], with the long spacing between the two barrel bands and what looks like the "dog collar" sling loops going through the stock. It might also be a Lebel 1886, but the stock bulging downward as it nears the receiver makes me think Mosin. I think these are probably continuity errors. I really wish we could see the receiver better. I hope this helps.

Got those shots up; can't say I have any idea what it is, but it does very closely match the best image we have from the movie and it looks bulky enough to be built around a real weapon action.

Also to elaborate on what I said there; you fight Patrice in an empty, unfurnished office with glass dividers, but the glass doors are indestructible. Since they only give you the P99 (which is, you know, totally the right thing to do when there's an actual PPK model in the game) you spend most of your time ducking around an indestructible door firing off entire magazines at him while he either shoots at you from ten yards away with a laser-sighted sniper rifle or throws grenades at you, seemingly ignoring the glass dividers to do so.

I want to add an entry for a 1979 cult Swedish movie named "Repmånad", which is roughly translated as "(army) refresher course". In Sweden we used to have a system of yearly conscription which saw thousands of people drafted and trained every year for a 7-15 month military service period. This movie is a sort of parody on the required month of "refresher training" those former conscripts had to do several years after their discharge from the army. The problem is, I dont know if I should create an article with the original Swedish name of the movie: "Repmånad", as it contains a swedish unique (Å) letter. A further problem is I also dont know of an English translation of "Repmånad"...So what do you think? Should I try and find an alternative translation or can I use a Swedish one? :I don't know if their the same I just assumed that. But they appear to be~the same based on their overall shape and appearance. The only other revolver type I've found that has a similar shape in the frame as Jaws revolver, maybe even more so than the Bulldog actually, is some of the make Astra. They've been kind of struggling to come up with a DLC idea since the plot of FC3 is rather hard to follow up on and doesn't really have any side-stories that don't involve appeasing Vaas' incredibly creepy fanbase. One of the big things that comes up again and again when people discuss it, though, is a DLC where you get to hunt dinosaurs. I guess the game started as an April Fools' joke making fun of how silly the idea was, but then someone pointed out that since people, you know, ''wanted'' the game and they were having a blast making it, they might as well finish it off. Any K10 SMG would be a KRISS USA produced one because they're all after the change, but prototype-based Vectors would always be TDI (since the KRISS USA brand didn't exist at that time) and I imagine most real Vectors in the movie industry have TDI trades.
:Just as an example; if Colt suddenly changed its name to Bob, it would be rather weird changing every gun page to reflect that when every weapon ID would be of a Colt-produced weapon. Not that it's going to happen, I just think 'original name' is the best precedent for page names which include manufacturer names, saves shifting them around whenever someone tries to think of a sillier name for themselves. I noticed some photos have quotes from movies in them. i.e the Spider-Man 3 photo of a Beretta 92fs had the quote "Fire!", the Terminator 2 Colt/Detonics M1911A1 Series 70 Hybrid was "Hasta la vista, baby." and the photo of The Other Guys glocks was "Drop it or be dropped, homeboy! Hope you like the taste of prison food...and penis." So it came to my mind saying I should put the quote "Ok, DROP HIM!" in a Terminator 2 photo of a CAR 15. I did so, but Ben41 removed it and just said "Undo revision by Gunnerboy." nothing more. Now I'm scared cause of an event that happened to me 1 and a half month ago. Ok, I'm already in a pickle, but here is my full story: My whole life on Wiki type websites have been a mess since the beginning (or at least my beginning at Super Mario Wiki which was the 1st ever wiki I joined). Super mario wiki blocked me for "sockpuppetting" (I don't even know what that is) and I couldnt edit there for 2 weeks. So, after that, I decided its time for me to officially quit that wiki - PERMANENTLY and to do something else on the web. I 1st created the user "Toadettefan1000" between 2011-2012 before Mario Party 9 was released. I was a Newbie, Probie or anything you want to call me thats similar to that, everything except a learner, because I was overexcited, couldnt control my mind/think properly and got right to work spreading my edits to pages the moment my account got created (unaware that there were other users at the time). I put "Toadette is considered an F- character due to the # of game appearances" in the Toadette trivia and l logged off (because I wanted to show my opinion of Toadette's appearances in games since she dosent appear much in the whole mario series). But minutes later, when I came back on, I discovered my edit is gone. I figured "Aw well, better put it back on." and so I did. But minutes later after that 2nd edit, the edit is gone! So, I was thinking "What?! I could've swore I done an edit here! Maybe theres a bug in the system." So I put my edit back on again. This gig kept up all the way til nightfall and thats when I was like "Thats it, I quit!" So, I left. A day after quitting, I decided to join Transformers wiki and do an edit on 1 of my fave pages titled "Unknown Constructicon Shovel" by adding multiple screenshots of the shovel transforming, but they got rejected claiming they "dont need multiple screenshots of the same character in 1 scene". So, I quit that wiki as well. An hour later, I decided to join Disney wiki, and since I've been to Hong Kong Disneyland, I decided to put Mickey and Minnie's Chinese names in their trivia pages (I thought it would be nice to know their Chinese names and learn some Chinese in the process). But you can probably guess what happened there. Anyways, I JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND THE WORLD ANYMORE! I even came back onto Super mario wiki 36 days ago to put a comment on the Rosalina talk page now as "RosalinaLover" (At 1st, I thought creating a new account would help me to start a new and better life here, put the miserable past behind me and solve my problems, but no, it seem to make things worse) saying that I stumbled upon some modified images of Rosalina in different alternate outfits on Google/Yahoo (besides her dress and bike suit), how its not natural for someone to put a character in an unofficial outfit and how they are able to make fan (yet official looking) art (because you know how people can get when it comes to future games, so they draw/make possibility pictures), but it got pulled down. And it just gets worse and thats where I hit a snag: within 2 hours after that edit, 1 of my accounts on Super mario wiki got blocked for "Sockpuppetting" for 2 weeks and the other indefinitely. I couldnt even log on or edit here for the time and thats when I decided to officially quit Super mario wiki and take my business elsewhere. I was thinking "either the previous wiki type websites I worked on hate me or I suck at editing". Every edit I did got taken down/rejected/trashed (looks like its back to the old drawing board). I'm in a real tizzy right now. No matter what I did, things seem to just get worse and worse as if no 1 wants me around. I COULDNT STAND THIS ANYMORE! :( I couldnt tolerate this kind of treatment any longer. It's very common in Hollywood for armorers to take stock models and then convert them to other variants as necessary. I noticed that the gun placed down while he's in the shower is a "mystery Para" when it resembles the other Paras used. The only argument against it being the P18 is it's wider bore, but in a lot of shots, the bore looks like that of a .45. I agree the bore looks big but you even see it in scenes were the model number is evident.
all in all they need AMT Hard ballers anything else is a bad knock off, not sure why they went with para any way other end of the spectrum.
any cheap stainless 5in 1911 clone would have been better, also with silencers 47 would have to get subsonic ammo to even use 9mm.
whereas 45s are naturally right at subsonic making them easier to silence.

Heck, I've seen grown men considered to be authorities on firearms who flinch when they shoot. Several of the editors for american rifleman flinch when they shoot. It's very common. Generally speaking it seems to be a matter of not having any real training. Military men and women, for instance, don't often flinch when they shoot. Sportsmen who learned to shoot from their fathers and uncles on the other hand do.

Having fired live ammo, and blank ammo alike, I can say that muzzle flash isn't what makes people flinch. In my dealings, it's the concussion of the round being fired. But flinching can be dealt with if the shooter is aware they are doing it. Actors are usually eager to look good, do if you tell them they look bad flinching they will stop. -J3

I'll reply to several of the above in this post. As the first two posters said, there is left and right eye dominance. Most of the population are right-handed and right-eye dominant, but are few are opposite eye dominant. I know some competition shooters who are right-handed but left-eye dominant. Because our competition is service rifles we have to use iron sights, so adjusting the focus on optical sights is out of the question. One simply shoots left-handed, and shoots quite well. The other had a set of prescription shooting glasses made. Flinching is something that happens even to experienced shooters. I normally use a No4 Lee-Enfield in .223 Remington. With the full stock and extra metal in the barrel (.223" vs .303") the rifle is effectively recoilless. But occasionally I start to flinch. To get over this I shoot full-power light-ball 7.92x57 (Turkish) through a Yugoslav M48 Mauser, or Chinese steel cased .308 though a No4 Mk4, and then return to the .223 conversion. I can understand why the actors will flinch. Very few are experienced with firearms and only use them in their roles. Add that more powder, often with flash enhancers, is used in the blank loads, the actors (and many of the crew) are often not wearing hearing protection, the studios are often confined and enclosed spaces, and after a few retakes using the guns becomes downright unpleasant. Having shot on indoor ranges WITH hearing protection, I can tell you they are very noisy. Start using full-power standard cartridges such as .303, .308, .30-06, or 7.92x57 and it can get unpleasant. Many actors, including William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy, have suffered permanent hearing damage from blank munitions and pyrotechnics. (Wraith)

Adding the (ridiculously expensive i might add) HK bipod and a C-mag to a G36 doesn't make it an MG36. A real MG36 has a thicker barrel. Now i admit from the screenshots i don't see if its a normal barrel or not, but considering that there were only very few MG36s produced, i think they just added, like you said, a bipod to a G36. Which makes it, like i said, a G36 (probably a G36E if they didn't remove the reddot sight on purpose) with a bipod, not an MG36.
The German Army doesn't even have enough MG36 to use them in the role they're intended for, they, too, just use their bipods and C-mags on their standard G36s (if at all, neither are very popular).

Doesn't have to be extremely cold to make a gun unreliable. I've seen a SIG P229 do this from being stored in a car overnight at around 10-20 degree weather. I just watched the movie again and on this page I didn't see the gun that 47 was going to use to kill Nika on the sidewalk in the beginning. Course there is not much of a look at the gun as it is never seen again but can anyone shed some light on it?

After a few seconds a strange assault rifle appears on a table with other guns.
It looks like an HK416 or a CM901 but with a folding stock and a short barrell

It's very common in Hollywood for armorers to take stock models and then convert them to other variants as necessary. I noticed that the gun placed down while he's in the shower is a "mystery Para" when it resembles the other Paras used. The only argument against it being the P18 is it's wider bore, but in a lot of shots, the bore looks like that of a .45. I agree the bore looks big but you even see it in scenes were the model number is evident.
all in all they need AMT Hard ballers anything else is a bad knock off, not sure why they went with para any way other end of the spectrum.
any cheap stainless 5in 1911 clone would have been better, also with silencers 47 would have to get subsonic ammo to even use 9mm.
whereas 45s are naturally right at subsonic making them easier to silence.

It looks like an HK416 or a CM901 but with a folding stock and a short barrell

:Judging by the stock, it looks to me like a [[SIG SG 551]] with a rail forearm and accessories. :If it doesn't have a threaded barrel, it can't possibly be a Tactical. It's probably a regular USP fitted with adjustable sights. It's very common in Hollywood for armorers to take stock models and then convert them to other variants as necessary. Saves them the trouble of having to buy a whole other gun when the only difference is something like the barrel.

I noticed that the gun placed down while he's in the shower is a "mystery Para" when it resembles the other Paras used. The only argument against it being the P18 is it's wider bore, but in a lot of shots, the bore looks like that of a .45. The difference between 9mm and .45 ACP 1911s is usually pretty obvious, and it does look to me like the Paras that 47 uses are actually P14s and not P18s in some of my screencaps. I agree the bore looks big but you even see it in scenes were the model number is evident.
all in all they need AMT Hard ballers anything else is a bad knock off, not sure why they went with para any way other end of the spectrum.
any cheap stainless 5in 1911 clone would have been better, also with silencers 47 would have to get subsonic ammo to even use 9mm.
whereas 45s are naturally right at subsonic making them easier to silence.

:I admit that I haven't watched this special feature (my version of the DVD didn't have it, which is why John had to upload the screencaps), but why is Mr. Maratier "stupid"? He's an armorer, not a filmmaker. I doubt his involvement in the production of the special feature extended beyond his interview, and showing off the guns he sent out to the production. The addition of footage showing targets being hit by live rounds (which Maratier himself obviously did not fire) may have been a decision on the part of the director or editor, which was done without his consent or knowledge. In which case, ''they'' are the ones who are stupid, not him.

:As for his flinching, he's firing blank ammunition. Blanks are always loaded with far more powder than live rounds so that they will produce a far larger flash, which cinematographers prefer because it looks "cool" on camera. However, the downside is that it's easier to involuntarily flinch due to the light and noise, which is why you see so many actors firing "eyes closed" in movies or TV shows. Just because Maratier is an armorer doesn't mean he's immune from doing the same thing - just look at the muzzle flash of the Blaser R93 and the CAR-15 that he's firing. Can any of us say that we would ''never'' do the same thing if we were firing blanks?

Heck, I've seen grown men considered to be authorities on firearms who flinch when they shoot. Several of the editors for american rifleman flinch when they shoot. It's very common. Generally speaking it seems to be a matter of not having any real training. Military men and women, for instance, don't often flinch when they shoot. Sportsmen who learned to shoot from their fathers and uncles on the other hand do.

Having fired live ammo, and blank ammo alike, I can say that muzzle flash isn't what makes people flinch. In my dealings, it's the concussion of the round being fired. But flinching can be dealt with if the shooter is aware they are doing it. Actors are usually eager to look good, do if you tell them they look bad flinching they will stop. -J3

I'll reply to several of the above in this post. As the first two posters said, there is left and right eye dominance. Most of the population are right-handed and right-eye dominant, but are few are opposite eye dominant. I know some competition shooters who are right-handed but left-eye dominant. Because our competition is service rifles we have to use iron sights, so adjusting the focus on optical sights is out of the question. One simply shoots left-handed, and shoots quite well. The other had a set of prescription shooting glasses made. Flinching is something that happens even to experienced shooters. I normally use a No4 Lee-Enfield in .223 Remington. With the full stock and extra metal in the barrel (.223" vs .303") the rifle is effectively recoilless. But occasionally I start to flinch. To get over this I shoot full-power light-ball 7.92x57 (Turkish) through a Yugoslav M48 Mauser, or Chinese steel cased .308 though a No4 Mk4, and then return to the .223 conversion. I can understand why the actors will flinch. Very few are experienced with firearms and only use them in their roles. Add that more powder, often with flash enhancers, is used in the blank loads, the actors (and many of the crew) are often not wearing hearing protection, the studios are often confined and enclosed spaces, and after a few retakes using the guns becomes downright unpleasant. Having shot on indoor ranges WITH hearing protection, I can tell you they are very noisy. Start using full-power standard cartridges such as .303, .308, .30-06, or 7.92x57 and it can get unpleasant. Many actors, including William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy, have suffered permanent hearing damage from blank munitions and pyrotechnics. (Wraith)

Adding the (ridiculously expensive i might add) HK bipod and a C-mag to a G36 doesn't make it an MG36. A real MG36 has a thicker barrel. Now i admit from the screenshots i don't see if its a normal barrel or not, but considering that there were only very few MG36s produced, i think they just added, like you said, a bipod to a G36. Which makes it, like i said, a G36 (probably a G36E if they didn't remove the reddot sight on purpose) with a bipod, not an MG36.
The German Army doesn't even have enough MG36 to use them in the role they're intended for, they, too, just use their bipods and C-mags on their standard G36s (if at all, neither are very popular).

Doesn't have to be extremely cold to make a gun unreliable. I've seen a SIG P229 do this from being stored in a car overnight at around 10-20 degree weather.
