The GP-30 under barrel grenade launcher is intended for destroying manpower in open country or in uncovered trenches/foxholes, as well as on reverse slopes by direct and indirect fire, using the VOG-25 and VOG-25P caseless fragmentation rounds.
The grenade launcher comes equipped with a leaf sight, which is used to correct grenade drift. Unlike the GP-25, the sight is mounted on the right side and requires no range adjustment.

The ZU-23-2, also known as ZU-23, is a Soviet towed 23 mm anti-aircraft twin autocannon. ZU stands for Zenitnaya Ustanovka - anti-aircraft mount.

It mounts two 2A14 23 mm autocannons on a small trailer which can be converted into a stationary mount for firing the guns. While in this position the wheels are moved aside. The autocannon can be prepared for firing from the march position in 30 seconds and in emergency can be fired from the traveling position. The weapon is aimed and fired manually, with the help of the ZAP-23 optical-mechanical sight which uses manually entered target data to provide limited automatic aiming. It also has a straight-tube telescope for use against ground targets such as infantry as well as unarmored or lightly armoured vehicles. The ammo is a feed by a conveyor belt from two ammunition boxes. Each of the ammunition boxes are located on the side of the twin autocannon and each carries 50 rounds. The fumes created by firing the weapon are partially removed thorough the side openings in the barrels.[1]

The cannon carriage is based on the earlier ZPU-2 anti-aircraft twin heavy machine gun, which mounted two KPV 14.5 mm heavy machine guns. ZU-23-2 can be identified by different placement of the ammunition boxes (at right angles to the gun carriage) and by muzzle flash suppressors. In another similarity to the ZPU series, single-barrel and four-barrel versions of the ZU-23 were also developed. However, these versions never entered service.

ZU-23-2 can be towed by a number of different vehicles. In USSR and later Russia the most frequently used towing vehicles for it were GAZ-66 four-wheels drive trucks and GAZ-69 four-wheel drive light trucks.[1]
'''9th Company '''(''9 POTA'') is a 2005 Russian language film about a group of Soviet vets in the mountains of Afghanistan, during the Afghan-Russo War (1979-1989). The story deals with idealistic young soldiers who are fighting a desperate battle against the Mudjahideen fighters.
The GP-30 under barrel grenade launcher is intended for destroying manpower in open country or in uncovered trenches/foxholes, as well as on reverse slopes by direct and indirect fire, using the VOG-25 and VOG-25P caseless fragmentation rounds.

Being muzzle-loaded, the GP-30 enables to increase practical rate of fire 2-3 times compared with the US 40mm M203. The trigger mechanism is of double action.

The grenade launcher comes equipped with a leaf sight, which is used to correct grenade drift. Unlike the GP-25, the sight is mounted on the right side and requires no range adjustment.
The Neopup PAW-20 (Personal Assault Weapon, 20 mm) is a grenade launcher designed by Tony Neophytou and is marketed by Denel.
Specifications
*Weight 5.9 kg (12.9 lb), empty
*Length 845 mm (33.3 in) (deployed),
770 mm (30.3 in) (stowed)
*Barrel length 355 mm (14.0 in)
*Width 115 mm (4.5 in)
*Height 185 mm (7.3 in)
*Cartridge 20mm x 42mm point-detonating rounds developed by PMP Denel [3]
*Action Gas operated with a rotating bolt
*Muzzle velocity 300 m/s (984 ft/s)
*Effective range 500 m for point targets. 800 m for suppressive fire (soldiers in a group.) 1000 m for area targets.
*Feed system 7-round box magazine
*Sights red-dot type collimating sight, but others available.

The PAW-20 is a hand-held, semi-automatic grenade launcher that fires a 20 mm point detonating round. It holds up to seven rounds in a conventional box magazine, each having an effective range of 300–400 metres. Its main use is against soldiers that are closely grouped or behind light cover. The weapon can also fire non-lethal payloads. The PAW-20 is in direct competition with the more complicated and expensive American XM25.

There has been criticism concerning the ejection port of the weapon, due to the shells being ejected near the firer's face which is said to produce hazards for the firer, but, in fact, poses no more hazard than most conventional assault rifles being fired left-handed. The PAW-20 even has the unique ability to be fired from the left shoulder for a right-handed operator by simply placing the butt on the left shoulder, with no hand swapping necessary. This allows the user the very important advantage of being able to fire from around or under cover which cannot be said for a number of bullpup weapons such as the Steyr AUG or the SA 80. The right-handed pistol grip location allows the weapon to recoil unimpeded into the butt stock this is what allows the weapon to fire a very heavy projectile at the high velocity it does for a grenade launcher.
