WORK IN PROGRESS anyone wants to help, be my guest. Excalibur01 02:12, 17 March 2009 (UTC)

The following guns appear in the film:

Colt M4A1
During the final assault, Frank (Ray Stevenson) takes a custom 10.5 inch barrel M4A1 Carbine with a C-More red dot optic, a sound suppressor, and a short version of the AG36 grenade launcher. The suppressor is an M4-2000 by Advanced Armament Corp.

So technically this is more of a CQB-R than an M4. Excalibur01 17:38, 1 June 2009 (UTC)
:CQB-R has a 10.3-inch barrel, but basically yeah. Spartan198 17:03, 3 July 2009 (UTC)
H&K AG36 Grenade Launcher
Frank appaently shortens an Heckler & Koch AG36 Grenade Launcher to make it more light weight. Prop wise, this is an airsoft product called the AGX made by Madbull. They have been making reference to its use in the film for some time now.
Frank is seen using this, but it was a stand alone, and apparently the effects guys made it looked like he fired a missile out of it. It was used once before Frank switched to the SL8.
Frank Castle keeps a performance center version of the Smith & Wesson Model 500 as one of his sidearms. Frank Castle uses twin stainless Berettas with extended mags and converted to full-auto in the movie. The armorer for the film claimed to have given him Beretta 92FS for the dinner scene, but it definitely looks like Microchip gave him a pair of INOXs for later scenes.
Now the rifles come in black, straight from the H&K Factory and have a semi-raised rail handle (a 'compromise rail' that takes elements of the SL8 and the G36C/G36K Scope mounting systems. U.S. Models are marked SL8-1. The sportsman version of this rifle in Europe is called the SL8-6.]]

The Heckler & Koch SL-8 rifle was the company's attempt at selling a commercial 'sportsman' rifle based on the military G36 design. They removed the 'offending' assault rifle type features to enable them to sell within Europe and the United States. What many see as an 'emasculated' G36 rifle, was the form of the weapon that was approved for import by the BATFE in the United States. Heckler & Koch has another variant of the SL-8 rifle that has a shorter threaded barrel, designed for a Suppressor, called the SL-9. Airsoft companies and Video Games routinely mis-identify or misname these rifles. The correct nomenclature designated for the real firearm is the one which should be used.

Also called the FN LAR (Light Automatic Rifle), a named ascribed to the FN FAL in Europe. The fact that there are so many variants, made by different countries and different names for the same models, causes a lot of confusion regarding what particular FAL is in what movie. For the most part, only the major variants of the gun will have been seen in movies with wide distribution, (the original Belgium version, U.S. versions, the Israeli Versions and British/Commonwealth Version).
The Heckler & Koch Mk 23 Mod 0 is used by John Connor (Christian Bale) as his sidearm throughout the movie. He notably makes a tactical transition from his HK416 to his Mk 23 while engaging Hydrobots and then levels it at Marcus Wright, who emerged from the same water.

Heckler & Koch HK416
The Heckler & Koch HK416 is used by John Connor (Christian Bale) for much of the film. The 416 is fitted with a C-More red dot sight, and a Surefire Millennium Universal Weaponlight on the right rail. He uses this to shoot at the T-600s head and to fire and Hydrobots when his chopper crashed in the river.
M60D
M60Ds are seen mounted on all the Huey helicopters and when John Connor is attacked by a T-600 he uses one from a downed Huey to shoot at it's head. John later uses one to fire at Marcus Wright when he escapes from the Resistance Compound.
A new menace for the humans, this is a motorcycle based terminator with auto lowering miniguns on its sides. A pair of Browning M1919s are also visible on the side. Its almost positive that there is another Minigun and another pair of Brownings on the other side.
Heckler & Koch Mk.23 Mod 0
One of the men in Conner's squad at the beginning of the film had a Heckler & Koch G36C

Heckler & Koch Mk.23 Mod 0
