Hello, Creating this page so hopefully someone can help me identify the firearms in this upcoming film. The trailer (link below) shows a number of firearms mounted on display and in use. The one gun that most intrigues me are the pistols that appear to be standard issue with "Kingsman", they appear to be Colt 1903/1908 hammerless? There are some Ar-15 type rifles visible, a subcompact glock in silouette and a sniper rifle too. I recall kick ass 2 had a page before the film came out identifying firearms in the trailer.
Those are Tokarevs. Custom grip panels and missing the hammer, but they are. Pepper (talk) 20:58, 9 July 2014 (EDT)

My first thought was Tokarevs as well due to the serrations. I was quite impressed they seemed to have filed away the hammers to make it appear hammerless and worked on the body to change it cosmetically. However Having seen the post below I agree that they are Colt Pocket Hammerless pistols, nice knowledge! - StaticHunter
Zooming the waistband image up shows that the right hand pistol has a slide stop and mag release button, which '03 Colts don't.Also the slide serrations seem to have been deeply milled away. They are way too big to be Colts,so I'm going with Tokarev, for now.Looks like the armourers and art directors have done their job:confuse the heck out of us.--Tecolote (talk) 01:25, 13 February 2015 (EST)
Those guns confuse the hell out of me. Sure they do look like TTs, and early ones at that, but... that trigger. Various characters in the movie put their fingers behind the triggers, you can't do that with a TT. --Seriously Mike (talk) 05:27, 23 February 2015 (EST)

If you look closely, the pistols have two triggers. The more prominent one that we see would be for the underbarrel shotgun while the second one behind it (you can barely make it out but it's there) operates the pistol. Very classy looking pistols.--ODnick717 (talk) 18:25, 23 February 2015 (EST)
The sniper rifles in the center cabinet are (at least I am pretty sure they are) all Accuracy International products. The first and third rifles (in the center cabinet) are Accuracy International AX50 rifles in .50BMG and the second and fourth rifles are Accuracy International AX308s. I am going by the size of the mags as well as the muzzle brakes on both weapons as identifiers. In addition the rifles on the left both appear to be HK416s and the ones on the right also seem to be Bushmaster ACRs (again I believe so). --Charon68 (talk) 20:59, 10 July 2014 (EDT)
"Brown Bess"
Yeah, as was suggested the "Brown Bess" isn't one at all, it's a German Schetzen rifle. They were pretty much all hand-made so it's impossible to identify it more than that. Unusual to see one with a flintlock though, they were almost always precussion or early breech loaders. That and their rarity / expense makes me guess it's probably a mock up.

Anyone else notice...
wesley has a "meh" two handed grip (almost a cup and saucer) in the first pic of him training with the USP compact, then his left hand is a little higher, then finally on top of the train he has an excellent two handed grip. I can't remember what it is called when the hand is positioned like that. Also notice how on the website for the film they have no problem accurately naming the custom Safari arms matchmaster, but in the film the custom beretta 92fs is called an "inimashi 17". Is it possible "inimashi 17" is simply what Mr.X called his personal 92fs or maybe sloane? Maybe the fraternity specially modifies berettas or other weapons and inimashi 17 is their designation? the latter seems slightly more possible as special weapons such as flintlock weapons with magazines attached to them appear to be issued to certain members.
:A two layered hand grip is usually called the "weaver" technique, but if both arms are locked extended it's focus combat shooting style. - Gunmaster45
Screen Used Beretta
Compensator on Matchmaster
In the text box on one of the images of Fox's Safari Arms Matchmaster it describes her compensator being such that it would blind her in low light. Why would that compensator versus any other design blind in low light, and wouldn't almost any not reduced flash powder blind in low light? Sorry if this sounds like a simple question, just trying to understand? --Rebusdi 09:08, 5 June 2012 (CDT)
:Compensators direct gas straight up to reduce recoil and allow for faster follow up shots. In normal light this is not a problem, but when it is dark the gas being directed straight up and the amount of flash the user views is greatly increased thus blinding them more than a non-compensated gun would, which directs the gas (and thus the flash) straight out of the end of the barrel. The Model 3 latch was connected to the top half of the revolver while the Schofield latch was connected to the fram itself. :The flash hider is a very easily changeable part so should not be used as the sole identifier for what a weapon is. I can't make out from that cap whether Sasha's gun has the 3 prong flash hider or a birdcage, but if you look at the receiver you can see that it has a forward assist, so is therefore not an M16 (or in fact an SP1 which is what 99.9% of the "M16s" that appear actually are) but rather an M16A1. To be honest, there is not really enough of the gun seen in Season 4 to ID it as being an M16/SP1 as the right side of the upper is not shown in the caps, so it is possible that it is an M16A1 that has just had the flash hider changed. --commando552 (talk) 11:41, 14 October 2014 (EDT)
::I've gone back and a flicked through to try and get a better look but I was not able to find a good look of the right side of the receiver. However, you can occasionally see that it has a screw head takedown pin which most likely means it is an SP1 (it could be a Sporter II but the SP1 is more common in films/TV). Just to point out, the 3 prong flash hider is incorrect for the SP1 as well, but they have quite often been modified to have them to make them look like more like original M16s. --commando552 (talk) 10:42, 17 October 2014 (EDT)
Bag of guns lie?
In the description it states that "Rick lied by telling him that in the bag was an "AK-47, .44 Magnum, Automatic weapons, Nightscore, compound bow and a machete with a red handle."" This isn't really a lie is it? Granted we did not see a machete or nightscope (which is what I'm assuming "Nightscore" is a typo of), but everything else was seen being put into the bag in the last episode of the last season. There are continuity errors, such as the M16 possibly changing to an M16A1 and the bow disappearing, but it I wouldn't call it a deliberate lie by Rick (if it was a lie, what was the point?). As for the machete with the red handle, I think they might have been talking about one of those orange handled Gerber "Bear Grylls" machetes that have been used by various characters. --commando552 (talk) 08:01, 22 October 2014 (EDT)
As it turned out Rick told the truth. He could call AKM places in the bag "AK-47". He also did not mention the Remington and Mosin Nagant M44 carbine. Another thing from this ep, this picture below definitively proves that this rifle is not a DD one:if you look at the brass deflector you can see that it has an odd shape, extending back until it meets the front edge of the forward assist whereas the DD guns have a more traditional design. At the start of the episode you get a couple of shots of this part of Glen's rifle too and it has exactly the same design (you also get a shot of how the handguard attaches to the receiver and it doesn't look like a DD either). To me these look like Seekins Precision Billet uppers], along with the matching [Seekins Precision Gen2 lower on Sasha's rifle. There do not appear to be any matching complete rifles on the Seeking site though, my guess is that they are just cobbled. I think we should probably just change the section title to "Custom AR-15" and do our best to ID the various parts. --commando552 (talk) 19:44, 24 November 2014 (EST)
WASR 10/63
Looking at the screenshots of Rosita carrying the "AKM", it appears that she is carrying the Romanian WASR 10/63 instead of a true AKM. If you look closely above the magazine where you would typically see either a lightening cut (for milled receivers) or a magazine well dimple (for stamped receivers, which the AKM is built on) you see a completely flat surface. I also noticed that the selector lever is either on safe or down to the semi-auto position and there doesn't seem to be a notch for full-auto which would be the setting between safe and semi; this indicates that it is a semi-auto only rifle. I've owned a WASR for about 2 years now and I can usually pick them out of a crowd of AKs.

UPDATE: Ok, glad someone made the edit, but the WASR is clearly chambered in 7.62x39 and not 5.45x39. The curvature of the magazine for the 7.62x39 is more pronounced (see the photos) than the one for 5.45x39. It's easy to miss, especially when the style of magazine are the same. A correction on my part; looking at the muzzle device, it looks like it is the earlier muzzle-nut rather than the slant-brake that would be on the later versions, making this a WASR-10. --ODnick717 (talk) 13:41, 3 December 2014 (EST)

Part of the weapons like the SIG-Sauer P226, Heckler & Koch Mark 23, Daniel Defense DDM4 MK18 and a night vision scope did not have Claimers which Rick was killed. The AR platform used by Carol to assault Terminus is not an AR10. It can be clearly seen in multiple screenshots that it has a 30 round PMag in it. It's definitely not an AR-10. There's a similar mistaken labeling on the S4 page for a rifle used by one of the Governor's men as an AR-10, but is clearly a .223/5.56 caliber. I'm changing it back.

I only bring it up as there is discussion of the swapping back and forth of the Schofield on the main page, but I think that the holstered revolver used by Doc in this picture is a Colt 1860 Army:

First of it isn't a Schofield based on the hammer being too far back. Also, there is a cut-out on the right side of the recoil shield such as for a loading gate or to put percussion caps onto the nipples. As there is no obvious loading gate on the part that is shown that rules out the SAA or a cartridge conversion, along with the fact that there is a large frame screw at the bottom with a smaller pin behind and above it which matches the Colt 1860 but not the SAA or Remington 1858 New Army (the cut-out in the recoil shield is also too large for the Rem). You do not see the whole gun so can't tell for sure, but comparing to the other guns that appear in the film I would go with it being a stock Colt 1860. --commando552 (talk) 20:10, 10 March 2013 (EDT)
:::Oh, I'll clear that up then. First Bronc had the Schofield, then Doc took it away from him when the tables turned. When they teamed up, it looks like Doc gave it back to him. --Funkychinaman (talk) 20:58, 10 March 2013 (EDT)
S&W Russian Model, not a Schofield
Actually the "Schofield" depicted is not a Schofield at all. This is a S&W Russian Model. It is very similar to the Schofield in that it is based off the S&W Model 3. If you look closely at the first picture you can see what looks like a lanyard ring on the bottom of the grip, the Schofield was never equipped with a lanyard ring. Also, looking at the first and second picture just below the trigger guard you can see an extra spur that all Russian models have; in the second picture you can see where Doc is actually holding the spur with his middle finger. Back to the first picture, right behind the hammer you can see that frame spurs out and the grip has a much thinner profile than a Schofield would. A real Schofield frame had a uninterrupted curved backstrap, but the one depicted curves to the grip and then drops off. Finally, the barrel locking mechanism is not the modified lockup developed for the Schofield; this is the same locking mechanism from the original Model 3 that was carried over to the Russian Model.
