Am I the only one who thinks that 3 (or maybe more) developer studios, a crapload of dollars and 15 years were not enough to create something outstanding? I mean, the game sucked monkey balls. Serious Sam is way more fun and funny, at least for me. - bozitojugg3rn4ut 15:58, 20 September 2011 (CDT)
:Borderlands was fun, Duke Nukem Forever was not, let's see what Furious Four turns out to be. --Masterius 09:24, 23 September 2011 (CDT)

::Absolutely right. Borderlands is a great game, but is more like an RPG, you know with looting, leveling and buying and selling and stuff like that. Furious Four looks like Inglorious Basterds to me, and I really hate that movie so I won't look forward to it. There is also a "secret" project on Gearbox's page, I wonder if it is the game remake of Heat. That would be cool. Especially if Mann is also involved. - bozitojugg3rn4ut 10:05, 23 September 2011 (CDT)

:::OK then. Some time after Furious Four is released, Borderlands 2 will be released. And there are rumours about Borderworlds although I can't find out whether that's codename/subtitle for Borderlands 2 or separate game in the series (kind of like expanded universe). --Masterius 13:27, 23 September 2011 (CDT)

Mosin Nagant
The Mosin Nagant is one of the best weapons in the game. Deals extremely high damage but the slow (bolt-action) rate of fire and lack of ammo supply can be a problem. The scoped variant is used by the Russian troops as a sniper rifle. Interestingly, the sniper version has a different reload animation: it must be reloaded one bullet at a time instead of the "normal" weapon's stripper clip, because the scope would interfere with the clip insertion, and strangely the sniper uses its own ammunition- you cant pick up 7.63x54R from standard mosins dropped by your comrades. When using the iron sights they are misaligned and in real life the bullet would hit above the target. but in call of duty it seems to be find.
PPSh-41
The PPSh-41 is the standard Soviet submachine gun. Appears with the 71-round drum magazine. The recoil of the gun is controllable, but has a short range. A very popular weapon on multiplayer servers due to its high ammo capacity and effectiveness in close quarters.
PPS-42
The PPS-42, an early model of the PPS-43 appears with 35-round box magazines in Call Of Duty 2. The low rate of fire makes it easier to control, but this could be a disadvantage at close range.
Luger P08
The Luger P08 is the standard sidearm of the German Army. Holds 8 rounds and is the default pistol of the Germans in multiplayer. It is also used by German troops if they are in "last stand," which eventually inspired the Second Chance and Last Stand perks in later Call of Duty games.

MP40
The MP40 submachine gun appears with a 32-round magazine, high recoil and poor range. It is relatively effective in CQC but hitting the target from a distance can be a problem.

United Kingdom
Webley Mk. VI
The Webley Mk. VI is the sidearm of the British forces. It is the most powerful sidearm in the game but holds only 6 bullets in the cylinder and its reload is fairly slow.
The British service rifle. Called simply "Lee-Enfield", the Lee-Enfield No.4 Mk.I is better than the Kar98k because it holds 10 rounds. A scoped version can also be found and used as a sniper rifle in single player and multiplayer modes.
