==Walther PPK/S==
James Bond ([[Daniel Craig]]) carries the [[Walther PPK/S]] as his sidearm in the film. Field Agent Eve ([[Naomie Harris]]) also uses a PPK/S during the film's opening chase. Bond started carrying the [[Walther PP]] in ''[[Dr. No]]'' and the [[Walther PPK]] in ''[[From Russia With Love]]''. He has carried the Walther PPK in every movie since then, not including a brief change during ''[[Octopussy]]'' when he carried a [[Walther P5]]. During the first half of ''[[Tomorrow Never Dies]]'' Bond switches his sidearm to the [[Walther P99]] and retains it as his sidearm through the next three movies, ''[[The World Is Not Enough]]'' , ''[[Die Another Day]]'' and ''[[Casino Royale]]''. However, since ''[[Quantum of Solace]]'', Bond appears to have switched back to the PPK/S, which is the post-1968 American imported version of the PPK. When Q (Ben Whishaw) issues Bond his new pistol, he refers to it as a "Walther PPK/S, nine-millimeter short" and states that the gun is coded to Bond's palm print so that only he could fire it. After losing the palm print-reading model in Macau, Bond carries a standard PPK/S when back in the UK. It is later used by M ([[Judi Dench]]) in the finale when Silva's men attack Skyfall Lodge.

Patrice ([[Ola Rapace]]) uses a [[Glock 18]] when he engages in a shootout with Bond and Eve in Turkey. This handgun is loaded with "depleted uranium" rounds (rather strange, as DU is usually only used in aircraft and tank rounds. A 9mm DU round would offer little armor piercing capability on account of its low velocity and mass). He initially uses the pistol with a 100-round Beta-C drum magazine, but later switches to extended 33-round ones during the train chase. The Glock in question has a completely enclosed slide and not the cutout version of the 18C.

Bond started carrying the [[Walther PP]] in ''[[Dr. No]]'' and the [[Walther PPK]] in ''[[From Russia With Love]]''. He has carried the Walther PPK in every movie since then, not including a brief change during ''[[Octopussy]]'' when he carried a [[Walther P5]]. During the first half of ''[[Tomorrow Never Dies]]'' Bond switches his sidearm to the [[Walther P99]] and retains it as his sidearm through the next two movies, ''[[The World Is Not Enough]]'' and ''[[Die Another Day]]'' . However, since ''[[Quantum of Solace]]'', Bond appears to have switched back to the PPK/S, which is the post-1968 American imported version of the PPK. When Q (Ben Whishaw) issues Bond his new pistol, he refers to it as a "Walther PPK/S, nine-millimeter short" and states that the gun is coded to Bond's palm print so that only he could fire it. After losing the palm print-reading model in Macau, Bond carries a standard PPK/S when back in the UK. It is later used by M ([[Judi Dench]]) in the finale when Silva's men attack Skyfall Lodge.

Patrice ([[Ola Rapace]]) uses a [[Glock 18]] when he engages in a shootout with Bond and Eve in Turkey. This handgun is loaded with "depleted uranium" rounds (rather strange, as DU is usually only used in aircraft and tank rounds. A 9mm DU round would offer little armor piercing capability on account of its low velocity and mass). He initially uses the pistol with a 100-round Beta-C drum magazine, but later switches to extended 33-round ones during the train chase. The Glock in question has a completely enclosed slide and not the cutout version of the 18C.
