The Walking Dead is a television series airing on AMC that chronicles the actions of County Sheriff's Deputy Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) as he leads a band of survivors after a pandemic has turned the population into zombies. The series was adapted for television by Frank Darabont (The Shawshank Redemption) from the Image comic book series.
Handguns
Colt Python
Deputy Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) carries a six-inch barreled Colt Python .357 Magnum revolver as his duty sidearm in the series. He so far has used it the most in the pilot episode but has carried it through every episode so far and has fired in at least twice since, once in the attack in episode 4 as well as drawn it multiple times. He also briefly wields it in episode 5. Rick once again fires it as the group flee the CDC in Episode 6. Of note is that when Grimes fires the gun in a very tight, enclosed space (in this case, inside a tank), it actually severely disorients him and hurts his hearing, unlike most movies or shows that have people firing guns indoors or in other enclosed spaces without being fazed.

Glock 17
A Glock 17 was one of the sidearms of the police in the first episode. One of the deputies was told by Grimes to have a round chambered and also (incorrectly) to make sure the safety was off. A Glock 17 is also taken by Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) from Rick's gun bag to confront the Vatos in episode 4. Shane Walsh (Jon Bernthal) carries one as well as his duty sidearm, and is seen carrying it during the end of episode four, though he never fires it until Episode 6 when they are fleeing the CDC headquarters when he takes a shot on a zombie as they make a break for the vehicles. It can also be seen in Shane's hands in the opening flashback of episode 6 in the hospital.

SIG-Sauer P228
One of the suspects from the police chase at the beginning of the first episode uses what appears to be a two-tone SIG-Sauer P228.

SIG-Sauer P226
In episode four, Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) handles a black SIG-Sauer P226 as he, Daryl, and T-Dog load up from the bag of guns as they prepare to confront the Vatos. It appears he may even have it tucked in the back of his belt during the confrontation later at the small of his back in addition to the Colt Python in his holster.

M1911A1
One of the suspects from the police chase at the beginning of the pilot episode uses a M1911A1 to wound Rick before being killed himself by Shane.

Browning Hi-Power
Merle Dixon (Michael Rooker) carries a chrome Browning Hi-Power pistol and uses it to threaten fellow group members in the second episode. The weapon is taken forcefully, then used by Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) as he and Glenn make their way to the truck.

Beretta 92FS
Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) takes a Beretta 92FS (standing in for a U.S. Military-issue M9) from a dead soldier inside a tank, identifying it as a Beretta with 15 rounds. He fires it until dry then stores it in Glen's Backpack. In the opening flashback of Episode 6, Shane witnesses soldiers executing infected people with the Beretta in the hospital Rick is laying comatose in during the initial outbreak.
One of the soldiers in the hospital flashback in episode 6 uses a Non Gun Beretta 92FS when he's finishing off the bodies with a shot to the head. It appears to be used by both Andrea (Laurie Holden) & Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) in Season 2.

Smith & Wesson 3913 "Ladysmith"
Andrea (Laurie Holden) carries a Smith & Wesson 3913 "Ladysmith" in the second episode. She later hands the pistol to Glenn (Steven Yeun) for his own protection when he and Rick make their way to the escape van, he does not fire it in the escape though. Andrea uses it in episode 5 to put her sister Amy down after she comes back as a walker.

Stainless steel Taurus Model 85
A stainless Taurus Model 85 is used by Morgan Jones (Lennie James) in the pilot episode. It has a 5-shot cylinder but is not of the S&W J-frame series. The unique curved ejector shroud on a Taurus Model 85 is barely noticeble in the photos below. Most likely if it is not a Taurus Model 85, it could possibly be a Ruger SP101. More in the Discussion page.

Colt Trooper
In episode 5 just before the group leaves for the CDC Headquarters, Rick (Andrew Lincoln) gives Morales (Juan Gabriel Pareja) what appears to be a Colt Trooper in .357 Magnum from the bag of guns when Morales and his family decide to leave the group to find their family in Birmingham. You can also hear Shane say ".357?" as well when Rick is getting it out of the bag.

Smith & Wesson Model 10
A snub nose Smith & Wesson Model 10 or two can be seen in the hands of the Vatos in episode 4 during the standoff in Atlanta, specifically Felipe (Noel G.). In episode 5, Rick (Andrew Lincoln) offers a Model 10 from the bag of guns to Jim who has been bitten to end himself, he declines.
Smith & Wesson Model 15
What appears to be a Smith & Wesson Model 15 is seen in the hands of one of Guillermo's right hand men, Jorge (James Gonzaba) in Episode 4 during the standoff.

Unidentified Handgun
During the standoff in episode four, Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) has a handgun in the front of his waistband that is definitely not the Glock he loaded earlier on which is in the back of his waistband at the small of his back, having an external hammer, but the pistol seems to also have a different rear sight than the Sig featured in the earlier loading scene.
Mossberg 590
A full-size Mossberg 590 is first seen being used by Rick's partner, Shane Walsh (Jon Bernthal) during the shootout with the suspects in the overturned vehicle in the pilot episode just before Rick is wounded in the line of duty. The shotgun is fitted with an extended magazine tube, heat-shield, collapsible KNOXX SpecOps NRS stock with pistol grip. It appears again later in Shane's possession at the survivor camp and can notably be seen being used by Shane on the attacking Walkers at the camp in episode 4. He also uses (aims) it in episode 5, when he and Rick Grimes patrol the woods. Shane also loses his cool when trapped in the CDC Headquarters in Episode 6 and uses it to blow up some computer monitors but later uses it in an attempt to bust the glass to escape which fails. Once outside, Shane uses the Mossberg to blast down walkers as the group runs to the vehicles.

Mossberg 500
Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) can first be seen using a 12 Gauge Mossberg 500 in episode 4 of the series. He has it in his bag of guns from the police station that he gets back in episode 4, and uses this shotgun from the bag in the standoff with the Vatos. He ends up giving it to their leader, Guillermo (Neil Brown Jr.) after the Vatos turn out to be doing a good thing.

Mossberg 500 Persuader
It appears Glenn (Steven Yeun) is using the persuader version of the Mossberg 500 shotgun from Rick's bag of guns. He is seen with it in episode 4 carrying it and then uses it on the siege on the camp by the walkers. In episode 5 it appears he still has it and carries it as the group make their way to the CDC Headquarters.

Mossberg 590 Compact Cruiser
One of the suspects that emerge from the wrecked car following a police chase at the beginning of the pilot episode uses a Mossberg 590 Compact Cruiser with door-breaching muzzle-brake.

Remington 870 Wingmaster
A Remington 870 Wingmaster shotgun is briefly seen in episode 1 in the house Rick stops at, Rick also has one in his bag of guns which ends up with Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) in episode 4 who uses it on the zombies attacking the camp.

Remington 870
It appears T-Dog (Singleton) is using a Remington 870 with a synthetic stock from Rick's bag of guns in episode 4 during the standoff and on the walker's siege on the survivor camp. He appears to be carrying it still in episode 5 as the group make their way to the CDC. Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) also carries a walnut-stock Remington 870 during the "switch" with the Vatos in episode four. He still carries it in episodes 5 and 6, along with his crossbow.
Harrington & Richardson Pardner Pump Compact
Rick (Andrew Lincoln) appears to be using a Harrington & Richardson Pardner Pump Compact with a wood stock for the remainder of episode 4 to replace the Mossberg he gave to Guillermo. He fires it in the camp during the attack and then carries it as well throughout episodes 5 and 6.
Winchester Model 70
Merle Dixon (Michael Rooker) is seen firing a Winchester Model 70 bolt-action rifle atop a building at walkers in Episode 2. He also uses the rifle to rifle-butt T-Dog in a disagreement before Rick intervenes.
Ruger M77 Hawkeye
Dale (Jeffrey DeMunn) carries a what appears to be a Ruger M77 Hawkeye with a scope, he is seen with it in every episode usually slung over his back as he keeps watch over camp. Dale fires it on the walkers in episode 4 during the attack and carries it to the CDC. In Episode 6 it looks as if T-Dog (Singleton) is carrying the rifle as the group flees the CDC and even fires it at least once.
In episode 1, a scoped Remington 700 BDL is given to Morgan Jones (Lennie James) by Rick Grimes from the police station arsenal. Morgan uses it to brush up on his marksmanship skills from the second story window of his hideout. To note when he is setting up to kill his wife (yet he is unable to bring himself to do so.) He takes an I.D. Photo and sets it up like a hide sight giving us a possibility of being a sniper in the past.
M4A1 assault rifles can be seen abandoned with several dead soldiers and other military personnel around the CDC Headquarters in episode 5. It is seen in the opening sequence of Episode 6 when Shane witnesses soldiers executing infected people inside the hospital. An M4A1 is also carried by Dr. Edwin Jenner (Noah Emmerich) later in the same episode when he first confronts the group he allowed inside.
Browning M2HB
A fake Browning M2HB is seen mounted atop a British Chieftain tank presumably standing in for an M1 Abrams, in which Grimes takes refuge. M2HBs are also seen on Bell UH-1 Iroquois helicopters and on a IAV Stryker.
Rick (Andrew Lincoln) ransacked his police station armory in episode one and throughout the first season is seen with a bag of guns from what he cleared out there which throughout the season ends up in the hands and used by fellow survivors in the group or himself, or given away. Inside the bag up to episode 4 is six shotguns, two high-powered rifles, a dozen handguns, and seven hundred rounds of ammunition, assorted. So far the current count from the bag is Harrington & Richardson Pardner Pump Compact, Mossberg 500, Mossberg 500 Persuader, two Remington 870s, Browning Automatic Rifle Safari, Remington 700, Glock 17 (possibly more then one), SIG-Sauer P226, Smith & Wesson Model 10 snub-nose, and a Colt Trooper.

USMC M40A3 rifle
USMC Sniper Bobby Lee Swagger (Mark Wahlberg) engages several ground targets with his M40 sniper rifle at the beginning of the film. In the final confrontation on the mountain, at least one of the enemy snipers in the mountain appears to use a M40A3 sniper rifle with an arctic paint job. note that this paint job is not done to military specs.

Barrett M107
In the opening scene in Ethiopia, Swagger (Mark Wahlberg) is seen firing both a Barrett M107 and a M40A3 sniper rifle. The M107 is distinguishable from a Barrett M82 by the full-length scope rail on top. Even though this rifle is a semi-automatic in real life, in the movie, the editing makes it appear that Swagger racks the charging handle between shots (like an non blank adapted rifle would require).

:Posted to IMFDB by Weapons Coordinator Ryan Steacy:
:"I was the weapons coordinator on this film. The Barrett used was a real one firing blanks. After multiple strafing runs by the helicopter and the amount of dust and crap floating in the air from all the explosions, the gun did malfunction a few times on multiple takes. Unfortunately the way it was edited together made it seem like he was cocking it after every shot."

M4A1
There are several appearances of M4A1s in the film, one with an M68 Close Combat Optic and M203 grenade launcher is seen being used by Donnie Fenn (Lane Garrison) to fire at a helicopter. They are also used by the mercenaries during the firefight on the ranch, one which is commandeered by Swagger, and one, possibly the same one taken from the ranch shootout, with a red dot optic and suppressor is used by Swagger at the end of the film. The M4 at the end of the film appears to have an EOTech with a 4x Magnifier mounted behind it, and not an Aimpoint Sight, as was on the one that he took from the farm. You can see the rifles optics when Swagger goes under the house with his M1911 out.
Cheytac (Cheyenne Tactical) M-200 Intervention
This hefty rifle fires the extremely ballistics efficient .408 Chey-Tac round. As a result, this rifle, with correctly manufactured ammunition, can be effectively used out to distances of approximately 1.5 miles. The rifle is usually used with a ballistic computer that calculates bullet trajectory based on atmospheric conditions. Although not visible in the still frames provided, during the movie scene a ballistic computer can be seen immediately to Swagger's right. While it is possible, one must realize that the average grouping for even the best rifle (the M-200 being high on that list) at this range will be approximately 20 inches at 2000 yards. Keeping that in mind, the scene was obviously used to showcase Swagger's supernatural ability to snipe. Note that in every scene exept the Trial Scene Swagger fires Right Handed but in the trial he holds it left handed.
A tactical police heavy barreled version of the Remington Model 700, the Remington 700PSS was purchased by Bob Lee Swagger in the sporting goods store when he is on the run (having Memphis buy the rifle). Next it is used at the river scene were Swagger is training Special Agent Nick Memphis to shoot under pressure. Later it is used by Memphis to provide cover fire to Swagger as they infiltrate the ranch in Virginia. Finally it is used by Swagger in the snow covered mountain scene. The secret service snipers at the president's speech use these rifles as well.
There are no clear shots of their pistols but the unnamed man's pistol may be a Beretta 92FS. Also interesting to notice is that Bob Lee Swagger can be seen taking Russo's pistol out of his holster while he is talking to Nick, so this could be where he obtained the Beretta 92FS he is seen using later.
A sawed off Remington 870 Express is seen when Sarah shoots a intruder in her home before being captured by Jack Payne (Elias Koteas), it is unknown if this is a second shotgun or if Sarah cut the stock and barrel off the one from earlier (most likely the former since it is unlikely that she would cut down the stock, sand it smooth, contour it and re-stain and finish it). The Short shotgun is seen during the mountain scene when Payne has it taped to his hand and is using to hold Sarah hostage when he taunts Swagger by telling him he has no shot.
Hye Predator may i say i viewed ur profile nice weapons so far ive only got a Marlin "Camp Carbine" .45 semi Auto Rifle, Remington 700 and hopefully soon i can buy a .22 caliber Hand gun idk what kind yet its for self defense may be silent but it'll hurt and hell they'll feel alot of pain as the bullet doesnt exit so any suggestion and i just wanted to know why u posted M24 on the M40 description area

Hello Adam, thanks for the complements on my weapons. I've added a few more handguns, but been lazy to add them. Anything on the M40 in the Remington 700 page was not written by me. I don't know that much about them. Go to the Talk:Remington Model 700 and post anything you think is wrong with the current M40 section. That's what talk pages are there for, rather than create a new page. I've been thinking about about getting a 700 since I don't have a bolt gun yet. Did you want a suggestion on a .22 handgun? I have a Colt Challenger. Other good .22s Browning Buckmark and Ruger Mark II. But I would go with something bigger for self defense. You can test different rounds to see the penetration. Also thank you for your service. --Predator20 11:11, 1 September 2010 (UTC)

Thank you for your info um.. does the colt challenger use a .22 Hornet round thats kinda the round i use the most also if there's a gander mountain by your house they sell used ones for about $250 to $400 personally my 700 is acting up for some reason the range is going down it used to be able to get a head shot 1000 yards no prob scope was fine and everything but now im lucky to get a torso shot at 200 yards i clean it every 3 days even if i dont shoot it so i suggest buying a diffrent rifle around the line of a of a springfield i used to have a spring field 1903 with a 5-6x36 times zoom scope it lasted from my 11th birthday from my grandpa he fought in WW2 in the marines as a sergeant and gave it to me lasted until i joined at 17 in which i left it to my friend who lost it in a lake when he tripped. >:) .
P.S. for alot of movies when its a military movie they say AR-15 varaint when it should be a M16 or M4 since its not being used by a civilian.

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is the sequel to the original "Battlefield: Bad Company". BF:BC2 uses the newest game engine called "Frostbite Engine", and it enables players to destroy any objects in the map (almost 90%). This game released in U.S on March 2, 2010. A pre-order package comes with instantly unlocked unlockable weapons and vehicle upgrades. Those being the Thompson M1928 Submachine Gun, Colt M1911A1 Pistol, Tracer Dart Pistol, vehicle Armor Upgrade, vehicle Secondary Weapon and vehicle Motion Detector. Some retailers also offer the AKS-74U in addition to these.

Beretta M9
Beretta M9 is a standard semi-automatic pistol. Had a correct 15 round magazine in the Beta, but reverted to the incorrect 12-round mag for the full game. As of the current R7 patch, its damage has been increased to reflect the in-game stat difference between it and the MP-443. One way to explain the 12 round mag and higher damage than the 9mm MP-443 is that it is the .40 caliber version (only the civilian 92FS has a .40 version, but there are bigger mistakes than that).
Colt M1911A1
Colt M1911A1 Semi-Automatic Pistol. It's instantly unlocked for players who pre-ordered Battlefield: Bad Company 2. With its .45 calibre round, it has the second highest damage of the pistols, beaten only by the MP412 REX using .357 Magnum rounds. Labeled "WWII M1911 .45" in-game. It is incorrectly portrayed as firing from an uncocked hammer (and it doesn't change at all, even the first round has been fired or the gun's slide has been pulled back while reloading).
MP-443 Grach
The MP-443 Grach appears in the game and has a 17-round mag, the highest of all the pistols, as well as the second lowest damage, the M93R being the lowest. In single player, this pistol is the only one available; Marlowe acquires one from Redford at the end of the mission "Upriver", and holds onto it for the rest of the game, while NSA Agent Aguire also carries one of his own. Marlowe uses his in the final moments of the campaign, both to destroy the Russians' scalar weapon and to eliminate Col. Arkady Kirilenko, the main antagonist.
Beretta 92FS Inox (mocked up as M93R)
The Beretta 93R in the game is actually a modified Beretta 92FS Inox with an extended magazine, larger trigger guard, extended barrel with compensators, stainless steel finish and a foregrip. In first person view it is the same as the M9 but with stainless finish, 3-round burst, and, though not visibly different, a 20 round magazine. In the kill feed it is called the M9-3, apparently DICE thinks it's named the M93 because it's an M9 that fires in 3-round burst.

Tracer Dart Gun
The Tracer Dart Gun is a non-lethal weapon used by both Russian and American force. The tracer darts it fires grants lock-on capabilities to allied Engineers using the RPG-7 or Carl Gustav launchers. Unlocked by default on all pre-ordered copies, but can be acquired through experience for those who did not pre-order. Unlike in the original Bad Company, the Engineer has to lock on the target by looking through the scope of the rocket launcher for a few seconds at the tracer point. After it locks on, a distance will be given. The Engineer is then free to fire in any direction, and the rocket will home in on the target. It is also capable of tracking and locking on while embedded on enemy personnel instead of vehicles.
Has a 10 round magazine despite what it says in the description. ==M16A2==
M16A2 is an unlockable assault rifle, and it uses 3 round burst. Has flat-top reciever. Note that it's called erroneously an M16A2 in the game. It can be mounted with M203 Grenade Launcher. The M16 has been replaced in Battlefield: Bad Company 2 by the M16A4. The M16A4 differs from the original M16 that was used in the first Bad Company in multiple ways: a 30 round magazine size instead of the 50 round size, a three round burst instead of being fully automatic, multiple Weapon Attachments (as is the case with most weapons in Bad Company 2). It requires 47000 Points to unlock, and is the last unlock in the "Assault" kit.

NOTE: In the real world, the newer "A4" variant uses a removable carry handle, which when removed, exposes an M1913 "Picatinny" rail. The sights on the carry handle are adjustable out to 600 meters. The older "A2" variant uses a fixed carry handle with sights that are adjustable out to 800 meters. Both can be had from Colt (or FNH, etc. these days) in either Safe-Semi-Auto or Safe-Semi-Burst configurations, although the standard issue US military config is usually Safe-Semi-Burst.
This means that the Engineer can carry up to 8 AT4's on their back if the extra explosives perk is chosen.
Redford and Marlowe use ACOGs, while Haggard uses a Red Dot Sight, though Redford and Haggard's optics are always present in gameplay, they only sometimes appear in cutscenes, while Marlowe's is always there.
M16A2
M16A2 is an unlockable assault rifle, and it uses 3 round burst.

Remington 700PSS/700P
In 1986, Remington developed their dedicated Police Sniper rifle, the 700PSS (called the PSS-700 in many publications contrary to the designation by Remington) was a heavy weight barreled sniper rifle based on the 700 action. PSS stands for Police Sharp Shooter. It had a lightweight synthetic stock. Remington also made a 'varmint' version with a thinner, tapered barrel called the 700 VS. Both variants of the 700PSS were chambered in either .308 Winchester (7.62x51mm NATO) or .300 Winchester magnum. Many snipers in SWAT units and some military units use the rifle with the .300 Win Mag action, but barreled for the .308/7.62x51mm NATO round, giving their armorers the option to swap the barrels for the larger caliber. Remington ceased sales of the 700PSS to the general public around 1999, rumored to be an attempt to be politically correct, however Remington company literature never mentioned a reason for the decision. Remington knew that the 700PSS was popular amongst hunters and police snipers alike and pushed the lighter barreled 700VS "Varmint" shooter as substitute. Though the VS had its fans, it never replaced the heavy barreled PSS in the minds of Remington shooters. By the early-mid 2000s, Remington has re-released a version of the PSS as the 700P for Law Enforcement and general public sales. The Barrel on the newer P models is not as heavy as the original PSS models and the new "P" model has a palm swell in the grip of the rifle. In most films, armorers still use PSS models, as they are more readily available in their armories than the newer 700P. Any film shot prior to 2004, the rifle cannot be the P model, but must be the PSS model, despite being visually identical.
M40 Sniper Rifle
The M24 SWS (Sniper Weapon System) is the military and police version of the Remington 700 rifle, M24 being the model name assigned by the United States Army after adoption as their standard sniper rifle in 1988. It is also used by the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF). The M24 is referred to as a "weapons system", because it not only consists of a rifle, but also a detachable telescopic sight and other accessories.

The United States Marine Corps also employs another variant of the Remington 700 as their standard issue sniper rifle, with the model name M40. The main difference between the M40 and the M24 is that the M24 uses the "long" version of Remington 700 receiver versus the M40's "short action". The M40's short receiver is dedicated to cartridges that do not exceed the length of the issue 7.62 mm NATO round. In contrast, the M24's longer receiver allows the rifle to be converted from 7.62 mm NATO to the more powerful .300 Winchester Magnum cartridge. The U.S. Army specified this capability in case future tactics required the larger cartridge's extra range and penetration.

Hello im Adam, I am currently practicing to try out for a rifle team so far i have shown perfect markmanship with a Remington Model 700 .308 Bolt action rifle with a 4x rifle scope i am also saving up to hopefully buy a Ruger Mini-14 .223(civilan model of the M14) personally i would love to have a full Black Mk 14 Mod Enhanced Battle rifle with a 4 Inch Supressor along with a 5 Times Zoom Trijon Acog scope even though thats highly unlikely to happen i would also like L96 .338 Lupa or a M40A5 Sniper rifle used by the marines which was my branch for a 7 year Contract i came out a Sergeant First Class with 3 deployments hence my name being Marine Sniper24 it was my Detail and Age when i got out. thx for visitng my page btw i forgot to say im 26 now
