Early in the film, Dwight ([[Macon Blair]]) steals a gun case from a parked truck, only to discover the revolver inside is protected by a trigger lock. He attempts to remove the trigger lock by hitting it repeatedly with a crowbar, which, predictably, is ineffective and destroys the gun. For this scene the filmmakers used an [[EKOL Viper]], a blank-fire only weapon, rather than destroy an actual working firearm.

Both of these statements are incorrect, although it is possible that the scene was written with another firearm in mind. Later in the film, Ben makes mention of giving Dwight a "Steyr" as a secondary weapon, meaning perhaps that the filmmakers had confused the Ruger with a similar-looking but older firearm that does indeed load from stripper clips.

In "Bali Ha'i" (S2E06) Mike's P225 turns into what appears to be a stainless [[SIG-Sauer P226 Elite]] in a continuity error. While the slide is that of a stainless P226 Elite, this particular weapon has no beavertail on the frame, black factory grips, and stainless frame controls. The stainless controls are indicative of an older-model standard stainless P226; however the frame also sports an accessory rail, indicative of a later model. This hybrid P226 was likely assembled from several different guns by an armorer. It could also be a replica, as it is uses to pistol-whip two men during this scene.

This might've been the Sig in darkness but in one episode we see Mike cocking what could be a 1911 in his car. It's propably the Sig though. Also when we see Mike searching his house with the Sig the profile seems a bit blocky, thinking it might've been a non gun or other prop/replica. In "Bali Ha'i" (S2E06) Mike's P225 turns into what appears to be a stainless [[SIG-Sauer P226 Elite]] in a continuity error. While the slide is that of a stainless P226 Elite, this particular weapon has no beavertail on the frame, black factory grips, and stainless frame controls. The stainless controls are indicative of an older-model standard stainless P226; however the frame also sports an accessory rail, indicative of a later model. This hybrid P226 was likely assembled from several different guns by an armorer. It could also be a replica, as it is uses to pistol-whip two men during this scene.
