I would like to discuss some popular action movies, as well as to create some pages about movies and TV-series not listed here yet. It's been half a year since I first visited your site, trying to find out which weapons were used in Assault on Precinct 13 (2005), and since then came to like it a lot. By the way, can you please create pages on the following:
Movies and TV-series:
1. My favorite, The Sword ("Меч"), an 2009 Russian/Ukrainian action TV-series about the group of vigilantes created by former VDV captain Maxim Kalinin. The show is extremely cool and exciting, despite low budget. It's as if Rogue Force were to be filmed as TV-series. I can provide you with the list of almost ALL of weapons used in the series.
2. Pistol Whipped (2008, with Steven Seagal as main hero)
3. Skyscraper (1996)
4. Detention (2003)

Anime:
1. Burst Angel
2. Sunabouzu
3. Great Teacher Onizuka
4. Venus versus Virus
5. Sacred Seven
Someone please point me to an outside source which claims that the briefcase version must be fired horizontally. Thanks so much. I haven't heard that before and have fired the device myself vertically. I thought that shooting it horizontally would ensure a stovepipe. MPM2008

:That's what HKPRO says: Difficult to fire accurately, the briefcase can easily put bullet holes into the calf of the firer, should he decide to fire the K on full auto while holding the case normally. Can you picture it? (http://hkpro.com/mp5k.htm) I have no idea how true it is, as I've never seen nor handled the briefcase MP5K. However, I can imagine that if you fire it vertically and you're letting it loosely dangle at your side (the way Til Schweiger is doing in the movie), the recoil would make it difficult to control and you could, maybe, shoot your own legs. -MT2008
:: Interesting. I've only fired it with blanks. And I held it with two hands, right hand on top, left hand holding the bottom of the case and it was fine. I think that risk only happens if you hold it buy the carry handle and let it 'dangle', certainly the 'push back' of the constant fire would push the briefcase backwards.
Broken Arrow is a 1996 action/thriller directed by John Woo and starring John Travolta as USAF stealth bomber pilot Vic Deakins who, with the help of a group of well-financed mercenaries, steals the two nuclear weapons they are flying with. A few Sig Sauer P220-series pistols are seen in both the hands of good and bad guys (and girls) alike throughout the movie. Riley Hale (Christian Slater) takes a P220 from a luckless Humvee driver when he hijacks the truck he's driving and shoots the driver in the foot when he holds Terry Carmichael (Samantha Mathis) at gunpoint. He then uses this gun and Terry's Smith and Wesson for much of the mine shootout. Later, Terry picks up a P228 from Max (Shaun Toub) after she kills him by launching a hammer at his head. When the finale begins, Terry and Hale both use the gun at one point or another; Terry effectively begins the climax of the finale by killing the train conductor (who had been shooting at her), forcing his body back onto the freight train's brakes.

Beretta Model 12
A Beretta Model 12 SMG is used by one of Deakins' men, Johnson (Vyto Ruginis) as Hale and Carmichael are pursued throughout the underground mine. When Terry gets the drop on him as he searches for the pair, he and Terry briefly struggle for control of the weapon (alerting Hale to their position). Johnson overpowers Terry and aims to kill her before being wounded by Hale and forced to drop the weapon. Hale then discards Terry's Smith & Wesson for the M12 and uses it against Deakins briefly.

Kelly (Howie Long) uses a full sized Mossberg 590 with heat shield and a cruiser pistol grip after losing his MP5A3 during the train shootout. He threatens to kill Deakins with the shotgun when he arms and refuses to shut down the nuclear missile, and then fires a few rounds when Hale distracts the both of them. After Hale kicks him off of the train, Hale retrieves the weapon and forces Deakins into a corner before he threatens to detonate the nuke.
