Unknown AK variant
This gun appearing in Black Ops, although being referred as 'AK-47' is not a AK-47 because the magazine is too straight to be a 7.62x39mm and maybe a 5.45x39mm. The hole in the front sight is also different from the one in AK-47. Therefore it is most probably a WASR-2 or WASR-3.

Steyr AUG
The Steyr AUG is seen in both the teaser and premiere trailer, being used only in the levels which are to take place in the Ural Mountains. It has a Swarovski scope, a arctic camo paint and a suppressor in some of the scenes. Strangely it lacks the folding foregrip. (Correction: Only the non-playable character's AUG lacks the foregrip. The Player's is simply folded foward) This is anachronistic, as the level takes place in 1968 but the prototype for the AUG was not patented until 1974 and was not introduced into service until 1977.

AR-15 Carbine
Throughout the game, it seems an unknown variant of the AR-15 Carbine (referred to in-game as the "Commando") that appears to have a 733 length barrel is seen in use. There are several scenes where it has a flat top. Even though a flat-top AR-15 weapon seems anachronistic, Rock Island Arsenal experimented with an AR-10 fitted with a weaver rail flat-top called the Model 656.

Franchi SPAS-12
The Franchi SPAS-12 is present in the game and is pretty anachronistic since it was manufactured only from 1979 whereas Tet offensive, the level in which it appears, took place in 1968. It is also shown firing the Dragon's Breath incendiary shotgun shells .
Miscellaneous Weapons
Crossbow
The Crossbow is a new weapon that will be featured in Call of Duty: Black Ops. It is speculated to fulfill the role of a quiet, long range weapon. The crossbow appears in the campaign mission "WMD', which is set in the Ural Mountains, 1968. Crossbows can have different types of bolts which it can fire, such as normal bolts and Explosive bolts. The crossbow is a military grade crossbow that can attach a scope, which the player can steady.
A Huey gunship is seen armed with a M21 armament system that consists of side mounted 70mm rocket pods and twin M134 Miniguns. Such systems were used in Vietnam and are one of the few things in the game that are historically accurate.
I wonder if you guys know this but those are Airsoft guns....I see the orange tip on the guns...
: Thats sure :) Its indeed unlikely that Treyarch would keep so many firearms in their studio :D

Unknown Attachment/Equipment
Seen in the 'Breach' trailer, this item takes the same position on the controls as the m203 launcher in MW2.
Some kind of pointed object, I'm not sure what it is but the player is carrying ten of them.

Probably the explosive bolts for the crossbow - SmithandWesson36
Could be. It could be also one of those ballistic knives seen in the MP trailer.

Seems to be the standard pistol throughout the game. From the gameplay I saw it shows Joe giving himself and Vito a Colt M1911A1 but with a 32 round magazine, it is strange though, it shows the reloading after like 10 shots and it would have been more interesting if the gun was fully-automatic. This weapon is seen being used by Vit, Joe and Henry throughout the game. In the trailer we see Joe kill two men with it and Henry kill a man beging him not to while we see Joe and Vito in the back with the same weapon. In a different version of this Henry is shot in the balls by the man before he is about to kill him with his M1911 which has Joe and Vito shoot him. In a trailer the fat mans guards fire at Vito and his crew when they are spotted before Vito shoots his MG42.

Thompson M 1928 commonly seen with a 50 round drum. The gameplay video shows it being almost uncontrolable, this is probably because the game has no lock on system. Whenever your in the Drivers seat and your chasing someone, Joe will use this weapon until it runs out. When Henry is shot in the balls, Joe uses a Thompson to kill the man with Vito. Recently in a new trailer, the original thompson was seen.
The following weapons are used in the video game Modern Warfare 2, also known as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2:

Handguns
Heckler & Koch USP45
Modified (with threaded barrels) Heckler & Koch USP45s have been seen in single and multiplayer and can be identified by the slide. They are equipped with unidentified non-removable, non-usable Laser Aiming Modules and suppressors. One of the main sidearms of the Russian forces and Task Force 141. (Note that the rear sights are not adjustable ones like that of the USP Tactical.)

Colt Anaconda .44
Seen in MP gameplay footage. Used by General Shepard in the Campaign in a couple of significant instances in the story. In one scene, he pulls back the hammer, and then the cylinder incorrectly rotates again when he pulls the trigger. Earlier in the story, we see that the pistol is holstered, yet he pulls the same model of pistol out to shoot someone, as though he has another big Anaconda tucked in the back of his pants.

Beretta 92SB
As in Modern Warfare 1 (Call of Duty 4), appears as the military issue M9. Seen in the Special Ops mode gameplay footage. Main sidearm of all US troops in singleplayer and is rarily used by the Middle Eastern OpFor and the Russian Airport security.

IMI Desert Eagle
Faust carries a Desert Eagle with a laser aiming module attached it. Equipped with incorrect 3-dot sights. It is modelled with Magnum Researches new barrel with a picatinny rail. Main sidearm of the Brazilian militia. Surprisingly, quite a few Americans, most notably Cpl. Dunn, use this gun as their preferred sidearm. Dual wield available.

Springfield Armory Professional 1911
It is the same pistol given to Soap by Captain Price in the 1st game. One of the only guns not usable in-game. Only usable in museum bonus level.

Knives
Blackhawk Tatang
The Blackhawk Tatang is the knife used as the melee knife, tactical knife, and throwing knife. It not, however, the knife used by "Soap" MacTavish at end of the last mission; that knife looks more like the one from the first Modern Warfare (the SOG Bowie), which would make sense since it belongs to MacTavish himself.

Machine Pistols
PP-2000
Used by Russian Paratroopers and Makarov's Ultranationalist. The PP-2000 can be equipped with assorted sights and scopes, including a thermal sight.

Glock 17 converted to full-auto
The Glock 17 appears in the game in a full auto configuration, with a 33 round magazine. Although it is called a G18, alluding to the Select fire Glock 18 manufactured by the same company, it has no selector switch, and the frame is olive-drab, which was only featured on their semi-automatic designs. The Glock 18 is used by the Brazilian Milita, Task Force 141, and rarely Middle-Eastearn Opfor, and a wounded Shadow Company soldier in the level "Endgame".

Beretta 92FS converted to selective fire
A confirmed weapon classified under the Machine Pistol slot as the M93 Raffica, it's attached with a skeletal stock and what looks like an attachment rail for a flashlight/LAM. In game model has extended mag but still only holds 15 rounds, MP model holds 20 rounds though. Seen in the armory in "The Gulag".
The Brügger & Thomet MP-9 variant with the scope rail and folding stock was seen in the Special Ops Gameplay footage. Often seen in singleplayer used by Middle Eastern OpFor,Russian Airport Security Police, Makarov's Ultranationalist and Shadow Company and is often dual-wielded (with a fairly realistic drop in accuracy, especially since you lose your ghost-ring ironsights). In multiplayer is has a small 15 round magazine, but extremely low recoil and great accuracy.
With a few exceptions, this is mostly used with an M203, and many of them use optical sights or scopes. In the museum level, there is a suppressed version of this. The M4A1 is used by the Rangers, Task Force 141, and Makarov's Russian terrorist assaulting the Russian airport.
FN SCAR-H CQC
Seen in game trailers and magazines. The SCAR-H is one of the primary rifles of Task Force 141, U.S. Army Rangers, and Shadow Company soldiers. Note that it's an old 2nd generation model used in-game, with the straight cheek rest on the stock. In the game the weapon incorrectly has a thirty round magazine instead of a twenty round. It also has a chopped down rear sight.
The IMI Tavor TAR-21 weapon pick-up icon is seen in the new capture the flag video, seen loaded with Full Metal Jacket rounds, and is also seen in the create a class video. It is used by Russian soldiers, and Task Force 141.The IMI Tavor TAR-21 almost always has some kind of optical sight or scope, including the standard MARS sight (As a result, after the EMP 3/4 of them become junk, though ACOG scopes are still usable).

FN FAL
The FN FAL rifle appears in game trailers with an extended 30 round magazine and custom Rail Interface System (similar to R.I.S. on DSArms SA58 OSW). Used almost as often as the AK-47 by militia, and sometimes by Russians. It's not capable of full-auto fire, which is correct for the Brazilians and OpFor, but is unusual for a full-time military like the Russians. Usually equipped with either an M870 Masterkey or an ACOG scope. Does the "speed reload" technique when reloading. In Multiplayer, the 30-round mags are restricted to 20 rounds unless the Extended Mags are equipped.
M16A4
Seen in the "Infamy" trailer. The M16A4 is correctly depicted as the standard weapon of the U.S. Army Rangers. Like the M4A1, many of these have M203 grenade launchers. Mostly seen used by the Rangers in the Washington, D.C. missions or by Task Force 141.

Just like in Modern Warfare 1, when the M16 is mounted with optics, the front sight and the gas block are removed. This would render the gun unable to fire automatically after the first shot. The shooter would have to manually load a round into the chamber by racking the bolt. This would effectively make the gun a bolt action.
The Remington ACR is chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO and equipped with a silencer, reflex sight, heartbeat monitor, and a 30 round magazine in the "Cliffhanger" mission. In the mission "Takedown", it's seen with a 40mm M203 Grenade Launcher. Referred as the ACR, it is formerly known as the Magpul Masada. A special black version of the "Cliffhanger" ACR is available in the mission "Just Like Old Times" that has a maximum ammo limit of 1,260 rounds, while the limit of the regular ACR is 650 rounds. Commonly used by the Task Force 141 and Shadow Company. Regardless of single-player missions or multiplayer gamemodes, all ACR's use Magpul PMAG's, in place of the STANAG magazines.
This firearm is an M14 featuring a SAGE EBR stock, Harris Bi-pod, and vertical front grip, however, it is fitted with a Magpul CTR stock instead of the standard telescoping SAGE stock. This seems to be the weapon of choice for Captain MacTavish, and is very rarely found in singleplayer without a scope attached. It is the last sniper rifle to be unlocked in multiplayer. Also noted is that it is labeled incorrectly as the "M21EBR", when it should only be the "M14EBR".
This mistake is visible only in multiplayer where it is depicted as a "M21EBR", where as the singleplayer got it right.
Steyr AUG HBAR
A Steyr AUG H-Bar is under the light machine gun class in multiplayer, where it uses a bipod, but is used in an A2-like assault rifle configuration for single player. Used mainly by Russians. When no sight is mounted in multiplayer, the rear sight is missing.
M240
Seen in game trailers.Used by US Army Rangers, Task Force 141,Shadow Company, and Makarov's terrorist assaulting the airport. Often seen with a heartbeat sensor (resemblance to the motion sensors from Aliens is entirely coincidental... yeah right). Also seen mounted on the Abrams tank (unusable).
Franchi SPAS-12
The Franchi SPAS-12 is used in pump-action mode by both the Russians and some Americans, usually with no attachments. An interesting point is that in singleplayer, you can see the empty shells ejecting when the gun is cycled, but you can't see the shells in multiplayer.
The Benelli M4 Super 90 is seen in the Special Ops mode gameplay footage. It has an olive drab colored frame in single player. Referred to as the M1014 ingame. Used by Americans and several Brazilians.
Winchester Model 1887
The Winchester Model 1887 is used by some Brazilians. Judging by how much damage it does, especially at range, it's most likely chambered in 10-guage. The weapon has a shortened barrel, no stock, and an enlarged lever loop. When akimbo, the weapons are flip-cocked as in Terminator 2: Judgment Day.

Launchers
AT4
The M136 AT4 unguided rocket launcher has been seen in a official multi-player video and some other confirmed videos as well. In one multi-player video it appears they named the launcher a "AT4-HS". "HS" most likely is abbreviated for "Heat-Seeking" and is also how it was able to guide it's way to a moving aircraft but can still be counter measured by flares.

FGM-148 Javelin
An FGM-148 Javelin launcher seems to be another available launcher for use in Multiplayer. While the multiplayer version has limited ammo, the singleplayer version has infinite ammo. Unlike the real thing (and the MW1 version) the Javelin is able to lock on to helicopters. Used by the Russians.
:I believe the Javelin has a direct fire mode that can be used to engage low flying helicopters (same fire mode was used in War of the Worlds and Cloverfield). However, in the game, the player still use top attack mode on the Mi-28s, which is not the proper way to use Javelins to engage helicopters.--Wildcards 19:16, 16 November 2009 (UTC)
::Actually the Javelin ingame (when locked on to helicopters) shows on the HUD that it's firing in direct-fire mode, but ingame it is only coded to do top-down attacks. Nohomers48 04:34, 18 February 2010 (UTC)
Knight's Armament Masterkey
The Knight's Armament Masterkey shotgun is frequently seen mounted to rifles as an underslung shotgun like the M203. It is mostly attached to the FN FAL or SCAR-H assault rifles, but is sometimes seen on other weapons. Carries 7 shells in single player (most likely impossible to hold in such a small weapon), or 4 shells in multiplayer in the tubular magazine, and is unlocked for assault rifles after 20 M203 kills in multiplayer.
GE M134 Minigun
GE M134 Miniguns are mounted on Humvees and is used by the player. In the "Wolverines!" level and in multiplayer, it is the platform for the M5 sentry gun auto-turret. Several dismantled ones can be found in Makarov's safehouse, and some are mounted (like M249 SAW's were in the original game) in some multiplayer maps. They can also be seen mounted on the Shadow Company SUVs. In some levels it becomes a vulcan cannon firing explosive rounds.
A lone Mark 19 Mod 3 automatic grenade launcher is seen on the ground next to a Humvee under repair in the "S.S.D.D." level, but is not usable in-game.
The Browning M2 is seen mounted on a Brazilian Technical truck during the levels where the Brazilian Militia are encountered. It can be used in one instance of killing the former users but is near suicidal to do so. Like on many mounted weapons, it will overheat on continuous fire. They also appear mounted on the Stryker vehicle and the Abrams tank.
This weapon above is a m16a1, look at the handguard, is clearly the handguard of the a1.
But the rifle has no forward assist,it is possiblely the early M16. maybe it's an AR 15.
Could it be the XM177 again, since it's the same character on both images and the hanguard is the same as in the M4 but with a slightly shorter barrel?

XM177
Can be seen in few screenshots from Xbox 360 gaming magazine. It may be that unknown M4-type gun. It cant be M4, because protagonist holding this gun can be seen in few moments from teaser/trailer in vietnam - And M4 was developed in late 90´s.
