I know that the original ''[[True Grit]]'' was made 42 years ago and for many movie-goers it might as well have been made 100 years ago, but still that's pretty gutsy. Rooster Cogburn was the role that got [[John Wayne]] his Oscar and the original movie is a classic. However I will probably go and see this one whne it comes out at Christmas. I hope they take out the weapon degeneration in this game. That really sucked in Fallout 3. The game would be way to easy without weapon disintegration. And it makes it more realistic. I just think its good that they have you maintain your weapon, while in other games you can fire off thousands of rounds of ammunition and the gun functions normally

also most of the guns are 200 years old and survived world war 3 so there not in prime conduction

I remember in fallout 3 fire rate would get lower damage go down a little bit and accuracy suffered, i kind of wish theyd introduce weapon jams though, it seems no games have jamming.

:Actually Fallout 3 kinda did have a jam system. You take a gun out or reload it and there's an animation to simulate a misfed or something and you see your character rack the slide or charging handle again after taking the weapon out because it's in poor condition. What I do find interesting is the Realism mode which means everything including ammo has weight now and healing takes more time instead of instant heal. I am glad for new weapons. It kinda pissed me off that we didn't have M16s all around but instead G3s as the American rifles. It's like in their universe, American adapted a G3 variant that fires 5.56 instead of the M16. Also there are already two games I can tell you of that have weapon jamming too. S.T.A.L.K.E.R (because I am that much of a stalker whore :D) and farcry 2. Farcry 2 has jam animations, but stalker only gets you to reload if your gun jams. [[User:5t3v0|5t3v0]]

I know America's Army 2 has jamming. 3 most likely does too. Far Cry 2 was fun but you just had to switch out your weapon every other mission to get around the jamming.

What a game hasn't done is have you fire your gun and in the middle of shooting, you jam or get a stovepipe and then animate your character clearing the jam. All the time, a jam happens after you reload. You just see your character rack the charging handle once or twice and then you're good to go. As much of a disappointent as OF:Dragon rising was (online didnt work, although there was bullet drop the rounds all did equal damage and each soldier had a health system, no one shot kills) it had jams be rare, random, and caught you by surprise. I had a mid mag jam in an m4a1 and a saw jam while supressing.

In gears of war 2 the lancer can jam, mid mag. This was an online glitch the developers left in. They're two different guns. Whoever put the gun that Michael used in the pilot episode to get rid of the drug dealer as a Jericho/Baby Eagle needs to get their eyes checked. That's definetly not a Jericho. I want to say it's a smith and wesson but don't know which model. Here's the image I got

I was looking for the model of Fiona's souped up assault rifle, that she stole from the gun-smuggler (after Michael poured gunpowder all over his face).

In the season 3 finale, Sam uses an assault rifle with a scope to get the kidnappers onto a boat and help free Fiona. Since Bruce Campbell is left handed, he covers up most of the rifle when he's shown firing. It looks like an AR derivative, either an M16A4 or SPR. I don't think it's an SR-25. i am pretty sure the black sig in the first picture being held by the michael character is a 228, the barrel looks short and in a later episode he mentions the 228, it seems to be his prefered weapon, and i'm not sure but i think the third one is as well,

==Errors==
2 Errors of note: The Steyr is a Remington 700. The stock isn't even close, the barrel doesn't have the twist and the scout rail isn't present. It's not a ProHunter either.

The Winchester 1300's aren't either. Note the lack of v-shaped reciever. They're Remington 870 Marine Magnum's.

I don't think they're even real. They look more like airsoft. The barrels don't seem to be connected to the magazine tube, there doesn't seem to be a safety or a pump release in the places you'd find them on a 1300 or 870. also we cannot see the ejection port which helps matters a great deal. I'm going to watch the episode again when i get home and look again. I also don't remembering them actually firing but there being an effect in its place.[I would ad my signature but I haven't been able to access my account as of late, Mercer]

During the episode "Double Booked" Michael apparently assembles an "AI AWC" but it has a standard Remington 700 bolt handle (flat and knurled), I think it appears to be a Remington 700 with AICS which does have a folding option, anyone prove me wrong? I deleted the bit about Fiona's walther ppk because it said that it was the gun Michael used to shoot Strickler. That is wrong Mike uses Fiona's HK USP compact and that is what she leaves at his house.

on the topic of HK USPs what kind is Seymour (arms dealer) seen using when he pulls it on Mike. the barrel looks to small to be a .45 but it appeared to be under HK USP .45

At the end of the episode when Sam is seen disposing of the weapons it is not a stretch to assume he kept some of them for their use, explaining where Fiona got the rifle.

Sorry for the huge screenies. From what i can see on taurus website they dont make the pt940 stainless with rail. Sure it could be aftermarket or the black could have been removed. But still the pt940 with rail has 2 notches in the rail and from what i can tell this gun dosnt. I am no taurus fan neither a taurus knower on the other hand.

A few things have always bugged me about those guns. First, the barrel doesn't seem to connect to the magazine tube the right way. Second the safety and slide release seem to be missing. Third there is no clear view of the right side of the weapon so we cannot see the ejection port. And lastly, we never see them actually fire, the "water shell" is a practical effect, not a blank round. I would bet money they're airsoft. [[User:Mercer|Mercer]] 16:16, 15 August 2010 (UTC)

Something is off about them. The trigger guard doesn't look right either, the inside of them is too squared. Often times S&W 3000 shotguns are misidentified as 870s. But they aren't 3000s either. The engraved nickel 1911a1 doesn't need the last line implying a different frame from the stock gun. The Colts with the large roll mark saying MKIV Series 80 had the arched mainspring housing and short trigger exactly as this pistol appears. This is how the full size Colts were made in the 80s.

The CURRENT Colt Series 80s have the flat mainspring housing and the long trigger, I think that is where the confusion is coming from.

The pistol in the picture does not appear to be modified in any way (except for the engraving of course.) The last line in the description that says "''Though the slide is marked "MK IV Series 80", it appears to have been a standard M1911A1 frame''" should be deleted. ::.22's may be small but in a pistol they still have some muzzle flip, so a compensator can be used to make the pistol pretty much completely recoiless, which is very useful when target shooting when you have to drill the same target multiple times quickly.
