Type 95 Light Tank HA-GO
When General Patton walks Malone down the street after the signing of the infamous Munich Agreement of 1938, (where British PM Chamberlain all but capitulated to Adolf Hitler's demands), the pair walks past a series of armored vehicles and trucks being loaded by German troops. Incredibly, and rather anachronistically, there is an ultra rare Imperial Japanese Type 95 Light Tank (called the "Ha-Go"), that was mostly seen in Manchuria. It sported a 37mm main gun and a 7.7mm machine gun. Why it is there in the background with an anachronistic German Iron Cross on the body is a good question.
Trivia
Inaccuracies regarding WW2 uniforms and conduct
* Despite being a fantastical comedy / farce, the uniforms of the major dictators was unusual in that the color red was essentially 'de-saturated' from their clothing. Tojo's brown uniform was grey, and his red collar tabs were also grey. Hitler's Mustard brown coat also seem missing the red as well as the NSDAP arm band. Mussolini's arm patch would have red stripes, but it has grey ones. This 'could' have been an intentional choice to show that they are 'ghosts' of the past, but it is worth mentioning. As for the 'guards' or adjutants, German Heer or SS officers don't hold a posture like U.S. Marines, when at a meeting. When not 'at arms' (i.e. not wearing their belts and pistols or other military weapons) they would have their hats off and arms to the side.

Riding the wave of Cowboy adventures and shows in the then 'new media' of television in the 1950s, Sturm Ruger Co, introduced a series of Single Action Army revolvers similar to the original Colt series. They initially create the Ruger Single Six which was a single action revolver outwardly similar to the Colts, however, the interiors were built like 20th century revolvers, thus cutting production costs. The later Ruger Single Six Revolvers has adjustable sights and was technically the inspiration for the later Blackhawk revolvers. In the early 1990s, Ruger introduced a fixed sight version of their cowboy style six shooter, called the Ruger Vaquero. The primary trait that distinguishes the more modern Vaqueros from the post 1960s Single Six revolvers is the fixed versus adjustable rear sights.
Like other SAA manufacturers, the Ruger revolver is sometimes used as a Colt impersonator in films and television shows.
For identification purposes, it is preferred the gun is labeled as a "Single Action Army" as opposed to a "Colt 1873" or "Colt Single Action Army" as many companies such as Uberti, Ruger Vaquero, and Beretta have replicated SAAs to the point in which labeling them all as a Colt would be incorrect. Do not label it as a Colt unless 100% positive it IS a Colt. In addition there needs to be made clear a distinction between two types of frames for all SAA type guns. The first is the standard (and ubiquitous) cross pin frame. This is evident by what looks like a screw protruding from the left side of the frame just in front of the cylinder. In order for the cylinder to be released the crosspin is depressed and then this frees the the cylinder rod which can then be pulled from the front of the frame thus the cylinder can be removed completely from the frame for cleaning etc. The second, is the older black powder type frame, which uses a conventional threaded screw which is on the underside of the frame in front of the cylinder, the cross pin core design purpose was just to facilitate easier disassembly of the gun. The crosspin frame wasn't widely available until the late 1890's.

The Single Action Army is seen fitted with many different types of grips, the most common being wood, Vulcanite (early black plastic), Ivory, Pearl, and Stag Horn. Noting these differences is helpful to those visiting IMFDB, and is thus encouraged.

During a country western music concert to benefit American troops, Michael Malone sees the ghosts of Servicemen past watching over their modern counterparts. Only Malone can see the spirits of the soldiers and sailors from previous American conflicts, none of the other concert goers can see them. One of the first armed 'ghosts' he sees is a Vietnam era soldier, holding an M16A1 rifle - 5.56x45mm
Mauser Kar98k rifles were seen slung over the shoulders of German soldiers in 1938 when Michael Malone was thrown out of the window of the infamous 1938 Munich Agreement (where British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain appeased Adolf Hitler and Nazi Germany) by General Patton. ===Type 95 Light Tank HA-GO===
When General Patton walks Malone down the street after the signing of the infamous Munich Agreement of 1938, (where British PM Chamberlain all but capitulated to Adolf Hitler's demands), the pair walks past a series of armored vehicles and trucks being loaded by German troops.
