As far as I can find the Milkor is only available as a six round. I am fairly sure the one Eames uses is the MGL Mk 1L, a long chamber variant. I think it is most likely that the props department built a bigger cylinder to make the weapon more impressive and just used CGI for the firing. Leo's rifle is actually the Howa Axiom with the snow camo and wrap on it. If you look closely you can tell.

Saw this last night. Noticed Tom Hardy's character during the snow mission scene used what looked like a SIG SG-551 or 552, with winter camo and a solid stock. Not 100%, though, and I can't find a screencap.

Definitely a SIG assault rifle.

At first, I thought it was a solid stock too, but I closely looked at it, it was a white cloth wrapped over the signature SIG folding stock, and it was definitely a 552, from the mag well shape, and that rectangular-shaped dent on it. [[User:Cld|cld]]

==Guns that stood out to me==
I wasn't so surprised to see Beretta 92 in there, but I was a little surprised to see Cobb carrying a Beretta Px4 Storm. Mal was seen using a Sig Sauer P232 I believe, and one of the projections was using a Glock 17. A classic and creative gun line up.

The snow camo'd Blaser was pretty cool. Chris Nolan had one in the Dark Knight too, so maybe he likes that gun. And I believe the Indian dude used some kind of two tone compact SIG on the bridge.

Well the Blazer LOOKS interesting. Its very visually engaging with its interesting stock coupled the barrel makes for an interesting composition. Paint it white and blotchy makes it even more odd.

Yeah the Blaser does have a distincive look - very 'filmy', and was used in The Dark Knight. Seeing as he went with a bolt-action over a semi-auto though I'm surprised he didn't go with the Accuracy International AWM. Only because it's designed for arctic conditions and...well, he's British and so is the AWM. - bigchiefreefa

In my opinion the Accuracy International would have been a better choice, I have fired both a blaser and AI before and i much prefere the AI, also if it came to a choice between a bolt action rifle and a semi auto, i would nearly always go for the bolt action as it is ever so slightly more accurate, especially over very long distance [[User:statichunter|statichunter]]

Ehh. I thought it was cool, but I didn't really get why he was doing it. He was in a dream, his cover was pretty much blown, and I don't think it would have made much difference had the guards heard the brass hit. And I'm pretty sure the last thing he'd be worried about is an evidence trail.

He hadn't been detected at this point and thought he was about to get away with it, the other reason could be as movie silencers are actually silent the sound of the brass hitting the floor could attract attention. I thought the Blaser R93 was a good choice, a very new-age looking rifle, and coupled with the Barrett ballistic computer, (BORS I think) it made a mean package. Leon used it effectively while on the run too. They don't often do that in movies with bolt-actions. Overall, I think the firearms selection and work was superb.

If they have better screen caps from the DVD, yeah. That's natural. But say for Transformers 3. Knowing Micheal Bay and the caps we got from the LAST Transformers movie, these are probably some of the clearest shots of the guns we'll ever see outside of production unless one of us goes on set and talk directly to the armorer of the movie and interviews him. I'd love to do that. I noticed that, too--definitely an SD, given the threaded compensator doohickey on the end there. Black grips, probably from a regular Px4 stuck on there.

I might be contradicting myself here (see my fisrt post) , but the SD is in .45 ACP and tho the standard models are available in .45, they are most commonly 9mm or 40SW. You're both missing my point. :P I never said give the guy a full sized gun, I was just wondering why he was using something so old compared to everything his buddies had. I mean, he easily could have had an MP5K or an OA-93, and I'd certainly take some kind of high capacity pistol if I were shooting on the move, rather than a six shot revolver. You'd have to aim all six of your shots, whereas with, say, a Glock 17, you'd have alot more bullets that could potentially hit your target. :::What do you mean pulling back the slide? If you aren't aware, a semi auto handgun will lock the slide back when empty. There are a few compact guns that are designed not to have the slide lock back. You could reload an automatic with one hand, like pinching it between your armpit or between your legs (unless you are on a motorcycle. Then you insert fresh mag and press the slide release. With a revolver, it would be very hard to reload it while on a motorcycle. It'll be hard if you are driving a car even with a speed loaded because you need to keep the chamber out without accidently pushing it back in. Also before today, old school law enforcements love the revolvers because of the reputation for reliablity. It was a preference choice by departments. It's not about loading the pistol, it's about if there's a stoppage, no way to clear a semi auto one handed safely while on a bike, a revolver just pull the trigger again and new round. You're more likely to do a limp wrist while on a high speed motorcycle, and what does limp wrist lead to? Misfeeds. I would imagine that was the logic behind the revolver. I honestly wasn't paying too much attention to the guns in Inception, but can we really say that the FAL used was a C1A1? The only thing that really distinguishes a C1 from any other inch-pattern FAL is the rear sight and I don't think there was a clear shot of it anywhere in the movie. :: Best I could find online - it's a build with a fanricated top cover, and the background isn't very nice, but it's good resolution and the configuration is correct, other than the upper receiver and the top cover they're all Canadian parts. I think that the reason this is carried by the Japanese Guard is because it looks very similar to the [[Howa Type 64]] battle rifle, which is illegal to own or export outside of Japan for any reason. The wooden furniture on the rifle makes me jump to that conclusion, as almost all Type 64's were fitted with wooden stocks and hand guards. - [[User:Scattergun|Scattergun]]

==Eames' H&K==

The article says Eames carries a USP Compact, but I think it's a P2000. If you look at the capture that's up, you can see that the slide has the thin long single groove that extends past the ejection port, unlike the USP Compact. I also recall from a few viewings that the slide was chamfered torward the muzzle (again, unlike the USP Compact), but lacked front serrations (i.e. distinguishing it from a P30). I am fairly confident that when the close-up of Eames from the warehouse is put up, it'll reveal this is a P2000 and not a USP Compact; anyone else agree based on the current pic, and/or their own viewing?

Yes it is defitely a HK P2000 based on the way it sits on the table, as well as in supercloseup on the table you can see the roll mark has italics. This is only on the p2000 series. Thought it might be a HK45C or HKP30 until you notice that there are no rail sets on the front.
BTW,The ambi slide release makes it sit that way, having both on the table before me...as opposed to the compact USP that would lie flat.
It is also the German V2 variety in that it does not have a safety and bobbed hammer. --GSCOT

While I don't mind a little change for a good reason, change for the sake of change is hardly a good thing. And for me, that was all the switch to the P99 was. The PPK has its merits for who and what Bond is, more than that though, it's iconic, part of what makes 007 as we've seen and known him. Changing that just for sake of having something different would be a mistake. It'd be like switching Dirty Harry's Model 29 for a .357 Snub, even though there's more an argument for the change and ''less'' for keeping it the same, in terms of practicality as opposed to Bond's PPK. Walther does not have any real pull on the Bond franchise.Craig's suits in the film aren't even fitte for a gun. a still from Skyfall's gunfight in the Instanbul square shows Craig's shoulder holster printing badly. Frankly,if we look at Craig's gunfights in his Bond films, the weapon his Bond does best with is the Glock 17 in Skyfall, and one handed at that. They don't shoot often and need maximum discretion. Bond practically announces himself everywhere he goes and shoots very often. The Glock 26, Walther CCP, Beretta Px4 Storm, Sig P938, etc. are all excellent compact designs in 9mm with good firepower. Some of them even have nice flowing lines to boot. It’s odd that they bought the PPK back in Quantum of Solace. Considering that Skyfall had pretty hefty symbolism with “death of Bond” in the beginning and the destruction of the iconic Aston Martin from Goldfinger in the end, pretty much telling that the old Bond is dead and it’s time to finally start a new era. So with all that telling that “cold war is over and it’s a new age” BS, why are they still making him stick with that ''cold war'' - '''''hell, World War II''''' – relic after all this? Part of the problem is that Bond himself is a product of his time, you'll never really eliminate that aspect completely, no matter what. Granted I don't really care whether he keeps it or not, but I don't get all the hostility for him keeping a "WWII relic", mainly the implication that carrying something "antique" is a drawback for that reason alone - How many 'modern' parties swear by the 1911 design still? It's older than the Walther PP or PPK. More than a century old now. Do you have something against a weapon's age? If that isn't it, and you want the franchise to truly and wholly update Bond with a new sidearm, well that's fine. I personally don't see what the big deal is over him still carrying the sidearm that most everyone still almost universally associates with 007/James Bond (and still certainly works as far as a concealable compact firearm needs to work). I've said it before when this discussion erupted for Skyfall and I'll say it again--we're missing the point. It doesn't matter what pistol is the most reliable, relevant, perfect CCW. It's Bond. 007. Sharp tuxes. Aston Martins. Walthers. It's just part of his character. I'm a die hard SIG fan, but if Bond carried a P224 in Spectre I might just have to boycott the movie. Just as he has to drive an Aston Martin, Bond simply has to carry a Walther. I still think he should switch between a P99 and either a PPK or PPS depending on the situation, but those are the only acceptable choices. I think people are just wanting to see pistols that are their personal favorites, which also happen to fall under the "improvement to a PPK" category. The Bond films aren't about realism, they never really have been. == Not a PPK/S afterall ==
So according to a member over at waltherforums who is apparently in the know, the PPK/S used in Skyfall was really just a PPK. The /S tacked onto the end of it was actually the writers way of designating it as a "Signature" model or micro dermal sensor model. They were completely unaware that Walther actually produces a real PPK/S model. So suppose in Skyfall Bond was issued a micro dermal sensored P99 in the museum by Q, he would have likely called it a P99/S. It was all just a coincidence.

The reason I post this here is because he went on to say that the same resin prop PPK gun used in Skyfall was used in the SPECTRE teaser poster. So if this is all true (he also provided several images of the props so it may very well be), then these pages may need to be updated. ::I dont think that is right, the top rail has a break for the ejection port whereas the LRC-2 has a continuous rail. The "laser" was a laser microphone which I believe was visible so that the audience could tell what it was being used for, while the other characters couldn't see it. ::Condition 3 would make sense for everyday carry as an agent like Bond is. While we, the audience, certainly see him use it quite a bit, he's also going to have long periods of carrying it, especially in "non-combat" areas and with plenty of other ways to deal with threats or targets. Being a spy rather than a soldier, it does make a certain amount of sense. More generally, I was quite impressed with the firearms usage in this movie, proper technique/operation and all that. The scene were he uses the vz.68 with single shots surprised and impressed me, not only that a movie has the hero actually use semi, but also how effective he was with it. The finale sequence involving his ammo was also cool. I also liked how he didn't just haphazardly discard all the weapons he used after a few shots or when they run empty. :Heya guys, saw this movie the other day, figured I would chip in, the laser microphone on the Glock carbine in Mexico is eventually revealed in cigar smoke, the characters cannot see it until then, guessing they had it visible for the audience to have an idea what was going on. Also on several occasions, more so than than the other Craig era Bonds the guns are not actually firing, notably during the boat chase in London when Bond fires several times with CG muzzle flash as the slide doesn't move nor cartridges eject. Other than that though I thought that the gun use was quite well done, an example being that Bond unfolds the stock in Algiers when needing to make a distance shot. Awalker479

Looking back again, another thing of improper gun handing is when Bond gives Madeleine a loaded gun, this one chambered unlike his PPK that he keeps racking every time he goes into a fight whenever the camera demands it. So either he knew she was well trained to use a gun or James Bond is stupid to give a loaded gun to an untrained person to mess with. While I don't mind a little change for a good reason, change for the sake of change is hardly a good thing. And for me, that was all the switch to the P99 was. The PPK has its merits for who and what Bond is, more than that though, it's iconic, part of what makes 007 as we've seen and known him. Changing that just for sake of having something different would be a mistake. It'd be like switching Dirty Harry's Model 29 for a .357 Snub, even though there's more an argument for the change and ''less'' for keeping it the same, in terms of practicality as opposed to Bond's PPK. Walther does not have any real pull on the Bond franchise.Craig's suits in the film aren't even fitte for a gun. a still from Skyfall's gunfight in the Instanbul square shows Craig's shoulder holster printing badly. Frankly,if we look at Craig's gunfights in his Bond films, the weapon his Bond does best with is the Glock 17 in Skyfall, and one handed at that. It seems as if Bond&Co. have had a gun pick up brand in each of the Craig films:Browning HP,Sig P226in QOS,and the Glock in Skyfall. They don't shoot often and need maximum discretion. Bond practically announces himself everywhere he goes and shoots very often. As for the ASP, its design has become too dated, and there are many other firearms that can replace it. The Glock 26, Walther CCP, Beretta Px4 Storm, Sig P938, etc. are all excellent compact designs in 9mm with good firepower. Some of them even have nice flowing lines to boot. But for serious gunfighters, they will probably use a larger pistol such as the P99 or Glock 19.

It’s odd that they bought the PPK back in Quantum of Solace. Just about all the Bond movies from 1995’s GoldenEye onwards have a tendency to have some character ''(*cough* Judi Dench *cough* M *cough*)'' remind Bond - and the audience - that cold war is over. Granted I don't really care whether he keeps it or not, but I don't get all the hostility for him keeping a "WWII relic", mainly the implication that carrying something "antique" is a drawback for that reason alone - How many 'modern' parties swear by the 1911 design still? It's older than the Walther PP or PPK. More than a century old now. Do you have something against a weapon's age? If that isn't it, and you want the franchise to truly and wholly update Bond with a new sidearm, well that's fine. I've said it before when this discussion erupted for Skyfall and I'll say it again--we're missing the point. It doesn't matter what pistol is the most reliable, relevant, perfect CCW. It's Bond. 007. Sharp tuxes. Aston Martins. Walthers. It's just part of his character. I'm a die hard SIG fan, but if Bond carried a P224 in Spectre I might just have to boycott the movie. Just as he has to drive an Aston Martin, Bond simply has to carry a Walther. I still think he should switch between a P99 and either a PPK or PPS depending on the situation, but those are the only acceptable choices. I think people are just wanting to see pistols that are their personal favorites, which also happen to fall under the "improvement to a PPK" category. == Not a PPK/S afterall ==
So according to a member over at waltherforums who is apparently in the know, the PPK/S used in Skyfall was really just a PPK. The /S tacked onto the end of it was actually the writers way of designating it as a "Signature" model or micro dermal sensor model. They were completely unaware that Walther actually produces a real PPK/S model. So suppose in Skyfall Bond was issued a micro dermal sensored P99 in the museum by Q, he would have likely called it a P99/S. It was all just a coincidence.

The reason I post this here is because he went on to say that the same resin prop PPK gun used in Skyfall was used in the SPECTRE teaser poster. So if this is all true (he also provided several images of the props so it may very well be), then these pages may need to be updated. ::Condition 3 would make sense for everyday carry as an agent like Bond is. While we, the audience, certainly see him use it quite a bit, he's also going to have long periods of carrying it, especially in "non-combat" areas and with plenty of other ways to deal with threats or targets. Being a spy rather than a soldier, it does make a certain amount of sense. More generally, I was quite impressed with the firearms usage in this movie, proper technique/operation and all that. The scene were he uses the vz.68 with single shots surprised and impressed me, not only that a movie has the hero actually use semi, but also how effective he was with it. The finale sequence involving his ammo was also cool. I also liked how he didn't just haphazardly discard all the weapons he used after a few shots or when they run empty. :Heya guys, saw this movie the other day, figured I would chip in, the laser microphone on the Glock carbine in Mexico is eventually revealed in cigar smoke, the characters cannot see it until then, guessing they had it visible for the audience to have an idea what was going on. Also on several occasions, more so than than the other Craig era Bonds the guns are not actually firing, notably during the boat chase in London when Bond fires several times with CG muzzle flash as the slide doesn't move nor cartridges eject. Other than that though I thought that the gun use was quite well done, an example being that Bond unfolds the stock in Algiers when needing to make a distance shot. Awalker479

Looking back again, another thing of improper gun handing is when Bond gives Madeleine a loaded gun, this one chambered unlike his PPK that he keeps racking every time he goes into a fight whenever the camera demands it. So either he knew she was well trained to use a gun or James Bond is stupid to give a loaded gun to an untrained person to mess with. While I don't mind a little change for a good reason, change for the sake of change is hardly a good thing. And for me, that was all the switch to the P99 was. The PPK has its merits for who and what Bond is, more than that though, it's iconic, part of what makes 007 as we've seen and known him. Changing that just for sake of having something different would be a mistake. It'd be like switching Dirty Harry's Model 29 for a .357 Snub, even though there's more an argument for the change and ''less'' for keeping it the same, in terms of practicality as opposed to Bond's PPK. Walther does not have any real pull on the Bond franchise.Craig's suits in the film aren't even fitte for a gun. a still from Skyfall's gunfight in the Instanbul square shows Craig's shoulder holster printing badly. Frankly,if we look at Craig's gunfights in his Bond films, the weapon his Bond does best with is the Glock 17 in Skyfall, and one handed at that. It seems as if Bond&Co. have had a gun pick up brand in each of the Craig films:Browning HP,Sig P226in QOS,and the Glock in Skyfall. It’s odd that they bought the PPK back in Quantum of Solace. I've said it before when this discussion erupted for Skyfall and I'll say it again--we're missing the point. It doesn't matter what pistol is the most reliable, relevant, perfect CCW. It's Bond. 007. Sharp tuxes. Aston Martins. Walthers. It's just part of his character. I'm a die hard SIG fan, but if Bond carried a P224 in Spectre I might just have to boycott the movie. Just as he has to drive an Aston Martin, Bond simply has to carry a Walther. I still think he should switch between a P99 and either a PPK or PPS depending on the situation, but those are the only acceptable choices. == Not a PPK/S afterall ==
So according to a member over at waltherforums who is apparently in the know, the PPK/S used in Skyfall was really just a PPK. The /S tacked onto the end of it was actually the writers way of designating it as a "Signature" model or micro dermal sensor model. They were completely unaware that Walther actually produces a real PPK/S model. So suppose in Skyfall Bond was issued a micro dermal sensored P99 in the museum by Q, he would have likely called it a P99/S. It was all just a coincidence.

The reason I post this here is because he went on to say that the same resin prop PPK gun used in Skyfall was used in the SPECTRE teaser poster. So if this is all true (he also provided several images of the props so it may very well be), then these pages may need to be updated. As for the condition 3 thing, a character chambering their pistol tends to be movie short hand for the character saying "I am now ready" so it was more likely than not done for plot/stylistic reasons. ::Condition 3 would make sense for everyday carry as an agent like Bond is. While we, the audience, certainly see him use it quite a bit, he's also going to have long periods of carrying it, especially in "non-combat" areas and with plenty of other ways to deal with threats or targets. Being a spy rather than a soldier, it does make a certain amount of sense. More generally, I was quite impressed with the firearms usage in this movie, proper technique/operation and all that. The scene were he uses the vz.68 with single shots surprised and impressed me, not only that a movie has the hero actually use semi, but also how effective he was with it. The finale sequence involving his ammo was also cool. I also liked how he didn't just haphazardly discard all the weapons he used after a few shots or when they run empty. :Heya guys, saw this movie the other day, figured I would chip in, the laser microphone on the Glock carbine in Mexico is eventually revealed in cigar smoke, the characters cannot see it until then, guessing they had it visible for the audience to have an idea what was going on. Also on several occasions, more so than than the other Craig era Bonds the guns are not actually firing, notably during the boat chase in London when Bond fires several times with CG muzzle flash as the slide doesn't move nor cartridges eject. Other than that though I thought that the gun use was quite well done, an example being that Bond unfolds the stock in Algiers when needing to make a distance shot. Awalker479

Looking back again, another thing of improper gun handing is when Bond gives Madeleine a loaded gun, this one chambered unlike his PPK that he keeps racking every time he goes into a fight whenever the camera demands it. I tried, but the quality of the shots I got were... not optimum. Partly it's to do with not getting a high quality video, partly due to the fast-cut nature of the footage. There's silenced pistol (possibly a SIG-Sauer) used by a motorcylists, what might by M16Ks, a gun disguised a flute. Also, due to this being a Mission: Impossible film, there are less shootouts than in other action movies. Still, less than three months to go 'til release, I think we ought to get the page ready. I read that article also and all it did was raise some questions re the Glocks. Why mix calibers( .40 and 9mm) for the same actor in the same scene, and why use a holstered Full auto Glock 18 with a standard 17 round mag instead of the 33 round happy stick that will let viewers know " Ah hah, he's got a machine gun" ?
Other than shoving the tan Glock into his chest holster, there wasn't any real exposition of weapons prep for Walker. All that really.happened with his Glocks was the tan one got knocked out of his hands. There's also an unidentified shotgun used by at least one of Mr. Nobody's men during the factory raid. I also can't figure out the pistol Tony Jaa uses during the raid when he does a flip and shoots one of the operatives. The main page says that Jakande uses an AKMS, but I'm not sure if that's what he's using in the raid when he shoots Sheppard. Can anyone confirm? I read that article also and all it did was raise some questions re the Glocks. Why mix calibers( .40 and 9mm) for the same actor in the same scene, and why use a holstered Full auto Glock 18 with a standard 17 round mag instead of the 33 round happy stick that will let viewers know " Ah hah, he's got a machine gun" ?
Other than shoving the tan Glock into his chest holster, there wasn't any real exposition of weapons prep for Walker. All that really.happened with his Glocks was the tan one got knocked out of his hands. == Brian's P226R & Others ==

I know that Brian uses a P226R, which the movie kind of makes look like he takes off of one of Tony Jaa's men in the bus. The other men on the bus that Brian shoots with his P226R look to be carrying Glock 19s or 17s (I'm leaning towards 19). The main page incorrectly states that Tony Jaa picks up Brian's P226R before the bus flips, but going frame by frame, it looks like he picks up the Glock the first guy Brian shoots was using. Also, there are no entries for any of the guns carried by the guards at Mando's estate. One looks like an AR-15 variant(possibly an HK33?), another looks to be an UZI, and another looks to be an AKM. There's also an unidentified shotgun used by at least one of Mr. Nobody's men during the factory raid. I also can't figure out the pistol Tony Jaa uses during the raid when he does a flip and shoots one of the operatives. The main page says that Jakande uses an AKMS, but I'm not sure if that's what he's using in the raid when he shoots Sheppard. Can anyone confirm? And if anyone has any info about the guns Brian and Tej use to fire the explosives that latch onto the bus, even if they are made for movie, please let me know!
