In "On the Wings of Love" (S2E18), Cooper is given what is identified as a [[Smith & Wesson 1076]] by FBI Regional Bureau Chief Gordon Cole (played by film director and series creator [[David Lynch]]). Cole describes it as the Bureau's new 10mm sidearm (The FBI used the new sidearms in the early 90's before it encountered field problems and was replaced). While the prop is referred to as a 1076 in the scene, the weapon is actually an early model [[Smith & Wesson 4506]] given the barrel length, slide mounted decocking/safety lever and double stack step on the frame.

: Definitely not a Model 10 given the large front ramp sight and adjustable rear sight. It's hard to tell details further than that to narrow it down, though. It doesn't look like it has a shroud on the ejector rod, but it looks bigger than a K-frame. Hard to say really with that image. Are we actually sure on that one? The gun's overall size doesn't seem as big as an N-frame. The cylinder particularly doesn't look big enough compared to the trigger/trigger guard (compare with the gun image), the bore seems a bit small, the barrel itself a tad short, and the front ramp sight style doesn't match for N-frame snubs (but ''does'' match for some K-frames, particularly Model 19s/66s). Chantal and Hutch use a Para .45 handgun with a beavertail grip and a threaded barrel, sometimes with suppressor, a Remington 870 Witness Protection, and a Remington 700 outfitted with a Choate Super Sniper stock. The Polish accountant utilizes a Glock 18 fitted with 33-round extended magazines to kill Chantal and Hutch. Daria keeps a .45 revolver on her bedside table, according to the Cooper-Doppelganger. FBI agents Tammy Preston and Albert Rosenfield use a Walther P99 and a nickel-finish 1911 model, respectively. Bushnell Mullins loans out a ".32 snubnose" to a newly-awakened Dale Cooper, although it appears to be a Smith and Wesson Model 36 more than any .32 revolver. Unknown revolvers are seen in the hands of the Doppelganger and Ray when they attempt to shoot one another. Warden Murphy holds a .44 magnum, most likely a Smith and Wesson revolver. In Season 5's premiere "No Sanctuary" (S5E01), the bag of weapons buried by Rick is recovered at the end of the episode. Earlier in the episode, when questioned about the contents of the bag, Rick tells Gareth it had an "AK-47, .44 Magnum, automatic weapons, nightscope, compound bow, and a machete with a red handle." It appears that the majority of the weapons in the bag were carried by the Claimers in [[The Walking Dead - Season 4|Season 4]]. Among the weapons seen carried by the group are a Mosin Nagant M44 Carbine, Remington 870 Wingmaster, an Uzi, and an SAR-1 in addition to Rick's own Colt Python. Michonne ([[Danai Gurira]]) takes a sniper rifle from a US Army soldier walker and shoots bottles at the carnival from a school rooftop in "Say Yes" (S7E12), which is somewhat strange, as the US Army does not use the M40A3. Tara Chambler ([[Alanna Masterson]]) carries a similar rifle while heading to Oceanside in "Something They Need" (S7E15).

:My guess is that the AR is a custom build. Parts that I can identify are the handguard which is a rifle length Daniel Defence one (the old model that has the three bolts on each side) and the stock is a Magpul ACS-L. On the topic of the LM308MWS that this was previously listed as, I think that the other two pictures in that section are wrong aswell. Firstly, I think that the one in the bin is the same as this one as it has a DD handguard with the same pattern of rail covers at the front. Secondly, the one carried by the saviour also appears to have a 5.56 mag. I'm not 100& sure about this as the angle isn;t great, but it appears to be curved and if you compare the depth of the magazine to the G3's behind it this one definitely appears narrower despite the fact that it is closer to the camera. Due to the number that appear, I'm started to wonder if we should just have a section for "Custom AR-15s" and put them all in there, as from looking through the page I think that there at least 6 different custom ARs which are not identifiable as a specific OTS model. --[[User:Commando552|commando552]] ([[User talk:Commando552|talk]]) 06:25, 7 April 2017 (EDT)

:That's a rifle in a Choate Super Sniper Stock, not a Blaser. If you look at the front you can see that the barrel comes out of the stock as opposed to on the Blaser where the barrel free floats above it. Also, there are no vents on the front of a Blaser stock, and on this rifle you can see where it steps in behind the "wedge" part at the front onto a textured panel. ==Mistaken Identification==
I've noticed two weapons that were misidentified
This one is IDed as a .308 rifle despite clearly having a 5.56 magazine

Second, this supposed M40A3 has a short, fluted barrel with a muzzle break. Pretty sure the real M40A3 has none of those features.

:::In all fairness, the front sight is a lot less obvious than the AIM handguard when watching the episode. If you see a gun that you know has been mis-ID'd, change it. Just make sure to add a clear description for the edit and give a proper description for the gun on the page so people understand what you are doing otherwise they are more likely to change it back. :I'd agree with that. Specifically, I would say that it is an MVP LR (based on the shape of the stock) chambered in 7.62x51mm (based on the design of the mag).
